Yesterday, I went to Tuas Lamp Post 1 with my friends for the chartered bus tour using a Tong Tar Transport Service Pte Ltd Zhongtong LCK6126EVG electric bus registered as PD2261P. At the spot near the lamp post, many bus enthusiasts managed to take a group photo inside and outside the bus. It is located at the end of Tuas South Boulevard near the Tuas Mega Port and it is located further away from the Tuas Checkpoint, Tuas Bus Terminal and Tuas West Road MRT station on the East West MRT Line. It is also the only lamp post in Singapore on which it is legal to paste stickers and was led to it being covered in stickers as high as 10 meters up. It first gained prominence in 2014, when it was the destination of a group of 60 cyclists in the LoveCyclingSG group during a 50km bike ride from West Coast Park to Tuas. Hope I would like to travel to that lamp post in Tuas South with my family or other bus enthusiasts for future bus tours in the future.

Great landmark for Singapore cyclist to go to at least once. Best to come on sunday as there are fewer trucks and lorries. Bring lots of water! I hope they wont tear it down as i saw there is a barricades at the lamp post now. 10/10 would not go again.

Terrible memories.... Cycling round island and eventually reaching here with butt and thigh hurting so much from the long ride 😭😭😭😭
