This canteen has been opened with just two stalls plus a drink stall for the longest time. The chicken rice stall has never been opened since I first came here in 2025. Chinese stall is mainstay with the cai pen, nasi lemak, noodles and bee hoon while Indian stall (but called Malay Stall) has changed hand few times. Like typical NTWU, nothing fantastic but prices are overall good. Drinks like kopi is $1.20 dine in or takeaway. For cai pen, usually one meat, two others dishes about $4, even if its fish. Even for the indian stall, prata and biryani all also priced alright. Even when you takeaway, the owner usually gives papadum and offer to pack soup and curries. Thus, sort of a friendly neighborhood food place whilst rest of Tengah still building up.

Both indian and vege rice stall food was ok. Eaten for a few days. The portion quite big Didn't try the drink stall.

Had the Indian food. The service was really good with really friendly folks. The food was also good. Felt like home cooked food. Would patronise again.

5.50 SGD for mutton curry (4 pieces of meat) and rice. Ridiculous.

Mixed rice stall is delicious and generous. Taste much better than some of the chain outlets out there.
