June 27, 2026 The taste is good. I went for dinner (parotta and fried rice). The parotta and biryani were good. The tea was especially tasty (because of the fresh milk). The prices are affordable. The service is good.
View on GooglePrice is reasonable. Rice is so flavourful. Mutton is soft and tender. Would love to come back to try other dishes like pata. Good options in the neighbourhood.
View on GoogleNew South Indian eatery place in the NTI Market. Went there a couple of times to have a breakfast and a dinner. The upma (savory semolina and rice porridge) was warm and flavorful, served with sambhaar and two chutneys (tomato and coconut-green chili). Since I came rather early, the vadai was still warm and crunchy, with soft inner dough. A satisfying and solid breakfast costing less than $5 with coffee. The chicken thali set was a bit of a letdown since the picture in the menu seems to have more side dishes. Instead, it consisted of only chicken curry (kuzhambu) gravy and stir-fried broccoli, accompanying the thankfully fragrant rice and fried chicken with 65-style marination. Damage done to my wallet (together with the unsweetened ice tea) was $8. Would like to try their briyani if I have chance to be back. Indoor and outdoor seating are both available. For the latter, the style is different for breakfast time, which consists of standing tables. Edit: finally tried their mutton briyani. Predictably, the portion was huge even after I asked them to reduce the quantity of the rice - essentially it's for two separate dinners. The mutton meat was soft, flavorful, and plentiful, and they somehow put a rather large chunk of bone that made the meal looked even bigger.
View on GoogleChicken dum briyani was delicious! I have ordered idly and fried rice too. Everything has a home-made taste to it which is lovely. The portion sizes here are highly commendable.
View on GooglePrice is reasonable. Rice is so flavourful. Mutton is abit tough. Would love to come back to try other dishes. Great addition to food options in the neighbourhood.
