I have eaten here several times and have always found the food to be excellent, especially the fragrant wok hei in their fried hor fun and fried rice. Unfortunately, our experience today was quite disappointing. The dishes we ordered were, at best, above average. The flavours were bland, and the signature wok hei that made us love this place was noticeably lacking. It really feels like the standard has dropped. We purposely drove here for lunch because we were craving the food, but while it filled our stomachs, it didn't satisfy our hearts like it used to. I sincerely hope they can regain the quality that made this place so special.
View on GoogleThe menu has so many options that it took us quite a while to decide what to order. I've been here many times because I love the authentic Hong Kong café vibe and the food. This time we went for the noodle dishes, and the portions were very generous. The stir fried Nissin noodles were packed with flavour, though a little too salty for my liking. If you enjoy bold, heavily seasoned food, you'll probably like it.
View on GoogleVisited Legendary Hong Kong at Jurong Point and was thoroughly impressed. The food here tastes just like what you’d get in a traditional HK cha chaan teng. Their Rice Roll with Crispy Dough Stick and Shrimp is a absolute must-try—the contrast between the smooth rice roll, the crunchy dough stick, and the plump shrimp is perfect! The Pork Chop Pineapple Bun was also fantastic; the bun has a beautifully crispy, sweet crust, and the pork chop inside is juicy and flavorful with the right amount of mayo. Definitely a solid place for your HK food fix. Will be back!
View on GoogleIt feels like a movie set where you are not in SG, green tiles and wooden chairs. I like the milk yuan yang ($4.00) I like having the option to have it zero sugar. Haha but I think it still tastes better with a bit of sugar. Peanut cake ($2.50) I like this. Fragrant swiss roll with a light touch of peanut cream. Tea special ($8.80) Worth it, a main and a drink. I had the chicken with dry nissin noodles. Generous helping, with fries and salad. The con is that the dish was too salty for me, esp the noodles.
View on GoogleHad a wonderful meal at Legendary Hong Kong with my family! The food exceeded our expectations, with a great selection of authentic Hong Kong dishes and dim sum. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and nicely prepared, especially the roast meats, siu mai, egg tarts, and the freshly ground almond tea, which was incredibly fragrant and a must-try. The staff were attentive, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the overall dining experience was excellent. A place I’d happily recommend to anyone craving quality Hong Kong cuisine!
