This eatery is good to come. The service from the staffs are good too and attentive. Ordered Lotus root with pork ribs and peanuts soup, stir fried long beans with minced meat and homemade deep fried prawn roll. It’s so good and no hesitation to say all delicious too.
View on GoogleThe 1st time we had our lunch there was really good. We were told that there's a 1 for 1 soup promotion, so we ordered the pigs's tripe soup with ginko nuts & the collagen soup with peach gum. We also had other dishes like steam cod fish & fried French beans. They all tasted good & we were happy that we had make the right decisions to patronise 老火汤 Last Friday, we went back again because we thought the soups there were really tasty & it's worth savouring again. However, this time, it was kind of disappointing because the soups ( we ordered the same soups) tasted rather off. The chicken meat bone looked like it's actually frozen thigh, meat was dry & overall it tasted like overnight soup as it tasted weird. The pig's tripe soup didn't taste any better, as the ginko nuts was kind of mushy due to prolonged boiling. We didn't enjoy the soups therefore we left it half finished. We ordered 2 side dishes, another disappointment. The creamy butter pork tasted just like any ordinary sweet & sour fried pork cubes (咕噜肉 )minus the buttery taste. The clay pot eggplant with minced meat was kind of under braised as it tasted hard & cannot absorbed the sauce. The only saving grace was the aiyu jelly. We paid $74 for this meal but I guess it's not worth for substandard quality foods. Consistency is crucial & essential, for maintaining high levels standard of foods, especially so in the ever competitive F&B sector, and is the only way to retain returning customers.
View on GoogleHealthy delicious soup and good variety of Chinese dishes menu. White radish soup with pork tastes great with rice. Sweet sour fish slice is also flavourful. Soup is also refillable once. Overall good meal option and they offer membership with additional top up benefits. Also tried their Yue Shan Guan menu offering tasty set meals.
View on GoogleWe had dinner at Lao Huo Tang (老火汤) tonight. Overall, it was a decent meal that met our basic expectations. A reliable choice for a simple dinner.
View on GoogleVery good place if you are super craving for huge variety of soup and had some money to spend. I would recommend most of their food. This is not my first time trying nor my last. The atmosphere brings you a warm welcome for your tummy, and the slight fragrance of soup in the air calls out your soul to indulge in this magnificent soup
