Today i dine in the restaurant at jurong point Hot Tomato. I order 1 sirloin steak 1chicken with sausage and 1 truffle fries. Point 1: the sirloin i order the medium but when i cut the steak, it was medium well. Is the chef first time to cook the steak? Also the steak tastes not very well!!! This is the first time i eat the worst steak ever! Point 2: the chicken is too over cooked. Chicken skin is very crispy but the meat too dry! Maybe i eat the dried meat will be better than the chicken. The sausage also no cook at all, look like just using the water to boil the sausage not grill it. Point 3: the truffle fries also overcooked ! The fries taste too hard. Also the fries don't have any truffle taste. Is today the chef working first day here? Ever the fries also don’t know how to fry? Point 4: The mushroom soup also no taste. Can you imagine a bowl of mushroom soup that doesn't taste like mushrooms at all? And it's cold when it's served. Also the all main of the spaghetti taste very worst! The spaghetti alio olio also don’t know how to cook? But last month i try the jewel hot tomato. The food there is completely different from what I eat here! The food there is so fresh and delicious, and the steak is cooked to perfection. I can't believe they're the same restaurant! 🤦🏻♀️ Does the owner of this company not know how to manage a restaurant?
View on GoogleDined here with my family couple of weeks ago. Courteous and pleasant service team. Overall, enjoyed the experience, and quality of food. Though felt the Salmon with Mango Salsa was not consistent with the one we have had before.. The noodles were too oily and lacked flavour, the salmon skin was soggy and the salsa was missing a punch. The Ciabata, the pork ribs were awesome, but the chicken chop was just average. Do wish the food is more consistent next time. Thank you.
View on Google**A Must-Visit Gem at Jurong Point: Hot Tomato!** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently had a wonderful dinner at **Hot Tomato (Jurong Point)**, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. For a total bill of just **$60 SGD for three people**, the value and quality were incredible. ### **The Highlights:** * **Cream of Mushroom Soup:** A perfect start to the meal. It was served with warm bread, and the **truffle flavor** was absolutely divine—rich, aromatic, and very satisfying. * **Prawn Appetizer (Our Top Favorite!):** This was the star of the show. The prawns were cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with sautéed onions. The creamy sauce tied everything together for a truly delicious combo. * **Crab Meat Pasta:** A very generous portion! The tomato base was flavorful and fresh, making it a great choice for pasta lovers. * **Grilled Chicken with Aglio Olio:** The chicken was perfectly grilled and paired well with the garlicky, classic aglio olio. **Final Verdict:** Great portions, delicious flavors, and very reasonable pricing. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
View on GoogleVery bad hygiene…….i pay almost $25 for a meal but get very sucks hygienic issues . Although the service attitude is nice but I think got an adult stuff he thinks is ok give me a sauce with outside cup full of ketchup split out like somebody just ate it . Then at first I calmly request a new one , then he just wipe away out side ketchup didn’t changed a new one for me . Then as the picture you can see is so disgusting , I pay to eat at here but the hygiene and service is worse than at food junction Please lah , higher up your quality
View on GoogleHot Tomato truly impressed me with the quality of its ingredients, especially considering the great price point! The prawns were noticeably fresh, perfectly cooked, and a delight with my meal. The chicken chop was a huge win—it had that ideal crispy skin and the meat inside was incredibly juicy. For a side, the freshly blended tomato soup was a standout, tasting vibrant and homemade, not canned. A fantastic choice for a casual, quality Western meal!
