Tried the seafood hor fun but asked them to replace with fish and they easily acceded to my request. The fish tasted a little spongy and the gravy was more yellow than I had expected. The taste was acceptable though. The prawn paste chicken is not the best that I have tried but it’s ok. The stewed beef noodle portion was a small serve so it will be just nice if you are not very hungry.

Visited Wan Chai Hong Kong Tea Room at IMM recently. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere and the service was decent. The food was generally alright, but nothing particularly memorable, especially considering the pricing, which felt a little on the expensive side. I wanted to order a regular iced Hong Kong milk tea, but the menu only offered it either without ice or topped with ice cream. Since the drink was priced at $4.90, I decided to try the version with vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, the combination didn’t work well for me. The vanilla ice cream altered the traditional taste of the Hong Kong milk tea, making the flavour feel quite off and taking away the rich, authentic tea taste I was expecting. Overall, it was an average dining experience. While the restaurant may appeal to those looking for Hong Kong-style cuisine, I hope they consider offering a standard iced milk tea without ice cream and review their pricing to better match the overall dining experience.

Tried chicken and mushroom cheese baked rice. Chicken is of a generous serving and very tender. Would have been better if there is more than 1 mushroom in this dish since mushroom is stated as one of the main ingredient :-) Gingko barley brancurd skin dessert is too sweet to my liking. My friends enjoyed their hor fun and yuanyang dumpling-wanton noodles. Overall, a decent meal. Service staff was friendly.

Have been coming here close to than 10 years! Taste like homecooked comfort food. They are really accommodating with requests, letting me change the seafood in cheese rice to all salmon. I really love the cheese rice thats not normal white rice, it comes with free soup as well. No service charge, but the staff are really sweet. The lady boss is super nice too

The resturant has been a part of our lives since we tied the knot in 2008. Their food has consistently brought us joy. My favorite dish is their signature black pepper seafood hor fun, which I always enjoy. My wife truly loves their braised pork rice, as it reminds her of the flavors from her hometown. This dish brings back fond memories of her younger days, when her mother would cook for her after she did well in her exams.
