This place feels very much like a mainland China eatery — no frills, no pretence, and clearly substance over style and service. The focus here is squarely on the food rather than ambience or polished hospitality The Zha Jiang Mian is authentic, with a robust, savoury sauce and satisfying noodles that taste true to what you’d find in Xi’an or northern China. Also worth noting that it’s located within Chinese Garden MRT station, so it can get quite crowded during mealtimes, especially lunch and dinner peak

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Taste but a Few Downsides I recently visited Xian Noodles Shop for their Mala Tang, and while it was a bit on the pricier side for what I ordered, the portions were huge, and the taste was fantastic! They have an impressive variety of ingredients to choose from, so you’ll definitely find something to your liking. The only downside is that the place can get a bit oily, and it’s not super cool inside, though it’s still much more comfortable than being outside. Overall, great flavours and variety make it worth trying!

It is really mixed experience - I would rate their noodles 5 star, mixed vege 3 star, and dumplings 1 star only. Dumplings are precooked and re-heated with hot water. Noodles are really good.
