Thankful for the staff’s explanation about vegetarian options available. Good product knowledge 👍👍 Tried all 3 vegetarian ramen, all can be made allium free, remember to exclude onion oil and spring onion: 1. Wadashi Vege Ramen - Lightly aroma mushroom base broth, bamboo shoots gave a very nice crunch and different texture for the ramen, like the nicely cooked ramen 2. Plant Miso Ramen - Think I like this the best, has a gingery tone to the broth, order this if you prefer thicker broth. 3. Nirvana NY - Staff shared that their enoki mushroom are fried with the same oil they fry other meat products, so thankful I was informed about that so we omitted that, too bad they cannot replace with other ingredients . More meaty/allium flavour, advise to avoid if you do not take allium. This uses a different wavy ramen.
View on GoogleI have been a frequent customer at this Ippudo outlet, but my recent visit was highly disappointing. The menu has changed and prices have increased, which would be acceptable if the food quality remained the same. Instead, the quality has noticeably dropped, making it feel like management is trying to maximize profits by raising prices while cutting corners on ingredients. Here is our experience with the current dishes: Tsukemen: The soup was very oily and watery. It had the consistency of a standard ramen soup base rather than a rich dipping soup. Bonito Tonkotsu: The soup base lacks its usual thickness. Worse, the noodles have changed—they are thicker than usual, taste completely different, and have a texture similar to an instant, store-bought ramen packet. Crispy Corn: Extremely salty. We could only manage to eat one piece. Ebi Tempura: Priced at $9 for 3 pieces, the prawns were super tiny, practically the size of standard small shrimp. Ironically, the best thing we had during our meal was the tartar sauce. I genuinely hope management reviews this feedback seriously. It is entirely unacceptable to increase prices while dropping quality standards. Please consider changing back to your old noodle recipes and ramen soup bases so long-time customers can continue to support you.
View on GoogleHad lunch with my wife at Ippudo, and once again, they didn’t disappoint. We ordered a large bowl of their new Bakuton Ramen to share and wow, it was totally different from the usual ramen we’re used to. The soup was super flavourful, almost reminded me of ginseng chicken soup — rich, comforting, and very satisfying. The portion was huge, so sharing one bowl was just nice for both of us (good thing we didn’t order two 😄). We also tried the Brussels sprouts topped with fried garlic, which was a surprisingly good combo — crispy, fragrant, and addictive. Overall, great food, generous portions, and consistent quality as always. Ippudo never fails us when it comes to ramen. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleThe ramen broth was incredibly rich and flavourful. Deeply satisfying with every sip. On top of that, I want commend Hock Tong for his friendly and attentive service which made the whole dining experience even better.
View on GoogleI ordered the Wadashi Vege and Chicken Karaage for SGD28.78. The ramen soup is really clean and delicious. I am pleasantly surprised that there are 3 vegetarian ramen options and I would return to try the remaining vegetarian offerings. Scan the QR quote at the table to order.
