Great food as usual. But service staff can be better. One of the auntie just interrupted us when we are being served to the table. I think need to train them to not just shout to their colleague across the room when customers are being served. We asked for a table of 8 pax, 2 of us showed up early and being served to a big table, the auntie just shout across the room, how many pax? So she think her colleague can’t check with us or didn’t check with us and then serve us to a big table? She also talks loudly with the kitchen staff at the serving counter like her house. Can improve in your training.

Visited Jem outlet branch as we tried other branch of Canton Paradise and it’s very good. However it was such a disappointment for this branch. We had order quite a few dishes and felt it was too much so we requested to cancel. However when I raised my hand, no one came to us. After a few minutes, waitress came but was told that unable to cancel the fish and said it’s just 2 small pieces only, but was able to cancel steamed rice rolls with meat??? Service was so bad that the waitress who served us doesn’t even bother to have eye contact nor smile at us. When we asked just 1 question, she turned over and answered us instead. Simply rude. Since we’re a table of 8, we’re seated all the way inside thus away from those small tables crowd. 5-6 tables around us are all empty thus no waitress are nearby. Should have appoint 1-2 waitress for inside. Upon paying the bills, the staff then informed us that the tea that we wanted was oos so they just simply changed it without informing us!!!! 🫤 We could have ordered other drinks. Only some food was still quite decent. In our own opinion, the spinach with 3 eggs are too watery & the eggs given are way toooo little.

Did a dine In today and I enjoyed myself thoroughly! Dim sum cooked to perfection, made to order, hot crispy and delicious! Also love the truffle mushroom dumplings! The service is excellent too, very polite and professional staff. Thank you so much! Will be back again! Have been doing grab delivery or pick up for this branch and they exceed expectations each time. Meticulously packed in their signature gold thermal bags, high quality food standards, delicious taste, always correct orders and lovely and friendly service from Mei Xian during pick up today.

Service is great. They kindly arranged our cake on a plate for us and promptly cleared the table, and even gave us free baos to celebrate my grandma’s birthday. The female staff who helped us take a photo also patiently helped us adjust our position to centralised the photo. Food was slightly more oily than usual.

Very disappointing experience. We were served an appetizer that we never ordered, without being told that it would be charged. It was simply brought to the table as if it were complimentary, and then we later found it added to our bill. Charging customers for food they did not order, without clearly informing them beforehand, feels extremely misleading and unacceptable. If an appetizer is not complimentary, the restaurant should make that clear and ask whether the customer actually wants it before serving it. This left a very bad impression and honestly felt like a deliberate way to sneak an extra charge onto the bill. Definitely not the kind of practice I would expect from a reputable restaurant.
