The teppanyaki were really nice and the sashimi and sushi were really fresh. The was a spoilt maguro but we spat it out after tasting it once. Overal service was very good and the food quality and taste were above average.

Probably an underrated place but the quality of food for the price fits. 4 stars does not mean poor hygiene, discounted because I’m not having Uni 😂. Never disappoints matching good priced sake with food selection. The baked oysters are the best but seasonal availability.

Sashimi was good, fm the 1-1 promo. Wasabi (in a metal container) and ginger were on the rotating belt so we had to wait for them to come (a long way) before we could tuck into our sashimi when it was served. Other than the Beef teppanyaki being a tad too salty, the rest we ordered were good, ingredients fm the kitchen were fresh esp. We did not try anything on the rotating belt tho.. . We came here to give it a chance despite the low 3.5 rating. And yes, food was surprisingly good. Service was a bit below (self serve tea at table was not free, so we ordered tea verbally but the cups did not come). So we left after food was done. Used Life SG credits.

The food is totally unacceptable for the price. Standard has dropped so much. i couldn’t even finish my meal , horrible. Disappointing meal.

The sushi offerings were fresh and delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. The presentation was aesthetically pleasing, and the service was attentive. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a sushi feast. While there were a few minor hiccups with timing, the overall quality and taste of the dishes made up for it. I would definitely recommend Sakae Sushi to sushi lovers seeking a satisfying dining experience.
