A small, cosy and tastefully furnished restaurant that whips up delicious western food. It has both indoor and outdoor seats. Service is a little lacking as the waitresses do not speak English well and didn’t understand the changes we wanted to make with our order. But they do serve with a smile. The seafood bisque with bread garlic rolls was wonderful for someone going for something light like me. The mushroom soup looks not only good in its presentation but tasted wonderful and certainly does not disappoint mushroom soup lovers. If the mushroom soup is paired with the bread rolls, it will be heavenly! The ribeye steak has room for improvement. At medium rare, it is still too tough. The fries were fried to perfection! Crispy and golden on the outside. I would like it more if the steak is served with roasted baby potatoes. I forgot to take a picture of the carbonara but the portion and taste indeed is satisfying. All of us left this place feeling very satisfied.

i like that their iced tea had little bits of boba. $13.90+ for their lunch set is a decent amount. fish and chips not bad. portion of fish is not bad. not super big lah. crunchy skin and decadent flesh inside. can be more marinated for flavour but still good. i like the amt of fries given. the bacon aglio olio was freaking salty. but luckily my gf likes lol. the staff are very kind and professional. they clear tables quickly and provide water and utensils to your table.

It's my third time ordering from JiakWesternLah (a catering by Buttercake N Cream). I've had their food twice for the past 2 years' Christmas parties, and most recently for CNY 2026 :) Overall, the food has been consistently tasty and generous in portion, which is why I keep going back! Their spread always looks impressive on the table (presentation A+++) and works really well for festive home gatherings ❤️ For CNY 2026, we ordered the Bacon Aglio Olio, “Hokkien” Prawn Mee, Baked Norwegian King Salmon, Baked Chicken, and the Creamy Seafood Bisque. The salmon has always been my personal favourite - this was my third time ordering it! It was perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and complemented beautifully by the tangy mango dressing 🤤 The Bacon Aglio Olio was a clear crowd favourite and one of the first trays to be cleared. The baked chicken was tender and chunky, while the Hokkien Prawn Mee was flavourful and comforting. The only letdown was the prawns in the creamy seafood bisque which weren’t as fresh, leaving the flesh all flakey and crumbly. That said, the scallops were really juicy and I guess the overall richness + flavour of the bisque kinda made up for it :) One area that could be improved is punctuality. The stated delivery window was 5.30 to 6.15pm, but our food only arrived at 6.30pm. It wasn’t a major delay, but my guests were anticipating the food around 6pm, so closer adherence to the delivery window would have been appreciated. All in all, the food quality has been consistently good across my 3 catering experiences. My guests sang praises of the dishes, and at $627 for a 20 pax spread (inclusive of the $19 delivery charge, hence it's about $31 per pax), I found it to be of pretty decent value. Definitely a caterer I’d recommend and consider ordering from again for future gatherings! 😊

The food is yummy! The burger was perfectly cooked and served with crunchy, well salted fries. Spaghetti bolognese was yummy and saucy and nicely presented with nicely toasted garlic bread. The coffee was nice though not great but as expected since it’s not a cafe. Chocolate lava cake was excellently warm and gooey inside. Highly recommended!

Went there twice. Once for their lunch set ($13.90) & then dinner for the other time. Both times, service was great! I enjoyed their fries & also their lunch set. Lava cake is worth trying too!
