This is quite a hidden gem — you'll need to drive in to find it, but it's well worth the effort. A friend recommended it based on his wife's fond memories of dining here during their courtship. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff are welcoming. Prices are reasonable too. Here are some of the dishes I tried: 1. Braised Minced Pork Rice (4.5/5) Having tried various versions of this dish across Taiwan, I know how much the ratio of fatty to minced meat matters in achieving that melt-in-your-mouth quality. This restaurant nails it — every bite is tender enough to break apart with just your tongue. 2. Appetiser Platter 开胃菜 (4/5) I ordered this by mistake, not realising my main meal already came with sides. That said, if you enjoy their side dishes, it makes a nice addition. Highlights include the tofu, sausage, and seasoned vegetables — my personal favourite — all tossed with chilli and a pleasantly sour, vinegar-like tang. 3. Century Egg Tofu 皮蛋豆腐 (4.5/5) I wouldn't normally gravitate towards century egg or tofu, but this dish changed my mind. The flavours are well-balanced, the ingredients complement each other beautifully, and it's great value for money. 4. Chicken Chop Rice 鸡扒饭 (4/5) This is prepared in true Taiwanese street-food fashion — crispy on the outside, yet juicy and tender within. It comes with a side dish, so do check before ordering the Appetiser Platter separately, or you might end up doubling up like I did

Authentic Taiwanese food. The signature braised minced pork rice with fried chicken is the best‑value option, letting you enjoy two flavours in one combo. The Taiwanese sausage is a disappointment and doesn’t live up to the usual sweet–savory standard. Their organic soya milk is another strong selling point and pairs well with the meal.

I’ve taken away food from Lee’s Taiwanese quite a few times now, and it’s one of those places I keep going back to. The food has a really authentic Taiwanese taste and the quality has been pretty consistent every time. I especially like their crispy items. Even after the trip home, they’re still nice and crispy.

Really ordered a lot of variety and all taste not bad. Authentic Taiwanese food be it the vermicelli or lu rou fan. Salted chicken is good. Location is not the most accessible. Not crowded on sun afternoon. Slightly on the pricey side i feel but place has aircon.
