Soft boiled eggs poorly done... (and an overall higher price for a breakfast set past 11am...) Update: don’t buy the kimchi fried rice either (it doesn’t taste like kimchi fried rice)

A troubled meal. At about 530pm, my friend, Zhefang brought a plate of seafood bee hoon from the local delight store. Just a few bites into the meal, he was shocked to be chewing onto something hard. It turns out to be a stapler, Firstly, what is the stapler doing inside his food? Imagine a toddler, being fed this tiny piece of metal that can be hardly distinguished when its mixed inside the food. Who is going to take the blame and bear the consequences of a child with a ruptured intestine? Secondly, when co fronted, the stall owner simply took away the stapler bullet(thankfully we took a picture before that). My friend being rather kindhearted wanted to just continue the meal, but we insisted he changed another or ask for a refund, he choose to get it replaced. When he approach them the second time for a replacement, they claimed that they do not know where it came from. If it happens once, and yet they do not know where it came from, I'm quite sure it is going to happen again. Thirdly, the replacement plate that they cooked were missing ingredients like the clams. This whole incident simply felt like they were unapologetic and took this situation lightly. Please pay attention and sieve through your food. Even an established food court is not spared from sloppy hygiene practices.

A food court that offers a good variety of food ranging from Korean to Pepper Lunch. I personally feel that the price range is affordable and the atmosphere is comfortable. (*Note: NTUC card holders are able to get discounts (i think) at certain stalls.)

Crowded every time during lunch and dinner times so always need to share tables. Plenty of food options here.
