Authentic Penang white curry mee. We ordered the sea food curry mee, chicken curry mee, chee chiong fun and hakka yong taufu. It is not as crowded as the sister shop a few units away. Curry chicken is authentic Penang taste. Worth coming back again if nearby.

Experience from bad to worse. First time had the curry noodles and a few hum was sourish. The pig skin was hard to cook but they did fine. At least it was soft, but it's texture was average. The dessert at 2.50 was affordable and they were both delicious in their own way. It was thick and well cooked. No gluey parts found. As for the Nasi lemak set that came with drink. It was $8.90 and considering that this is a neighbourhood, it could be a bit ex. First time the Nasi lemak had enough curry to go with rice but second round it was pathetic. Did not finish the rice. It was mentioned that the curry was cooked and portioned with serving. Sounds very stingy. Even if the part is a thigh, lack is curry gravy is a joy kill. The ikan billis was very little and the ikan is very saltish. Peanuts ok. Place was aircon and cleaned well. But lack of curry gravy is a big Nono for me. It is ok, they can save the curry for the next person. Miserable.

Came by for a quick coffee stop after our lunch at Island Penang - which is under the same umbrella of companies. Prices are okay, and the air conditioned environment is a welcoming addition especially in this hot weather. ☕️ coffee was decent, similar to the tea which we had as well Fishballs were good, my father liked the curry 👍🏻 Definitely will be back for more coffee in future!

I was pleasantly surprised at the close to authentic Ipoh style curry chee cheong fun at this new place just opposite Sheng Shiong supermarket. The curry was lemak and tasty (some may find it a little too salty - but just right for me). Boneless tender Chicken pieces made it super convenient to eat. My sister has the char siew version; the char siew was I guess ok. My wife had the curry chicken with bread and the chicken thigh portion is sizable. Same curry sauce base which goes well with the french loaf bread. The fried chicken wing was well seasoned and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. No cloying oiliness which is good. The honey lemon drink was a bit on the sweet side and the I would pass on the soya bean - too small a cup.

For those missing a taste of Malaysian curry mee, for me it fixed my craving for curry Chee Cheong fun. Chicken was a bit hard, definitely different from the fresh chicken you get in Malaysia curry mee. (To the shop - can please change to fresh chicken!! I’d be back every week if you change it! :)) Char Siew was good. Enjoyed the white curry. Will be back to try the dry curry mee. Good price point at $5 per bowl, sit in aircon, good for hot day. Coffee is from machine - not great.
