brand outlet, refreshing look with abundance of local delight food option. particularly interest me is the kaya toast bfast set, french toast bfast and yhe Indian roti prata offering. coffeeshop has a cozy feel with abundance of seats. need to do some campaign to promote to residence and visitors with special store opening promotion to draw them in to create awareness and interest. It was a bit too quiet for a Saturday morning.

I really wish I had read the reviews before dining here. The western food stall is manned by dishonest people indeed. I ordered fish and chips from them and was served the most thinnest slice of fish I ever seen. Even primary school canteens don’t serve such sizes. See the pictures and decide for yourself. I paid $9 for paper thin fish? How to justify that? To the owner of this stall. You charge such high prices and yet you still look adopt such unethical ways to cut cost. You really should be ashamed of cheating your customers off their hard earned money.

Quite nice atmosphere at this new eating house, probably because of the high ceiling, interesting huge industrial fan which is mesmerizing to watch spin (lol), and nice seating. Food wise, not too bad. I especially like the original version of the ban Mian with nice thick chewy noodle from the Qiulian stall. The roti prata sometimes good sometimes regrettable when too thick and doughy thus not crispy fluffy and soft inside. Sometimes the curry is very good, sometimes the turmeric smell is still quite strong and raw. Read that the biryani is nice so will try that next time although hope the curry will be good. Tried also the western food there, the hainanese chicken cutlet, fried chicken was not bad, good serving of steamed veg, the french fries were yummy, but the dish was let down by the tomato based sauce which looked so different from the photo on their signboard. It was too thick and almost like jelly, and the taste is very sharp like some darkened ketchup. Fish and chip’s fish was kinda thin while breading was too thick which absorbed a lot of the frying oil. The deep fried fish is much better at Blk 208C’s fried rice uncle, but he doesn’t offer it with french fries and veg to make it fish and chips, only with fried rice and stir fried spaghetti. So no choice, will still be here if I want some french fries! The chicken chop and spaghetti’s chicken chop was nice, the sauce was good too. But let down by the spaghetti which was strangely starchy even though it looks good and the cream sauce was not bad, quite standard creamy taste. My biggest gripe is the price of soft drink here!!! Ntuc has an app where diners can use it to make payments and get 10% off. But $1.90 for a soft drink is too much from a business that is affiliated with NTUC. Overall, I would still go there for the ban main and roti prata that’s sometimes good. Too bad the mee pok stall here seems to have wound up, it was quite good actually. Maybe can’t sustain with the rent which I believe should be high as all chained corporatized coffeeshops are. There are only two coffeeshops in this part of clementi and I am grateful for having both coffeeshops; giving me more choices! The other coffeeshop is at Blk 208C where I go for nasi padang, zichar, mee pok, fried rice and now very nice Japanese rice bowls.

Crispy & juicy Saba fish. The value meal set is a steal. Airy & breezy, new & relaxed neighborhood food court. I like the breakfast set too for a little more than $2, including kaya & butter toast, 2 eggs & tea/coffee.
