Celebrated Father’s Day in advance with Kimly Zi Char . Ordered these curated dishes stir-fried morels with assorted vegetables, for prawn ball with ginger hor fun, honeydew thousand island dressing prawn ball , homemade fragrant crispy duck . The dishes are very tasty and unique in a coffeeshop setting . Our favourite is the hor fun which has the wok hei taste . The duck is a bit dry . It’s very convenient as the coffeeshop is just a walking distance offering hassle-free celebration . They also allowed the use of CDC vouchers .
View on GoogleThis coffee shop also goes by the name of : 881. Probably the local movie must have had a huge impact on the owners, heh. The most popular stall here, arguably, is the corner dim sum stall. The owners makes a good portion of the dim sum themselves, as well as the bao. But the best dish, in my opinion, has got to be their homemade porridge. Both the pi tan zhou and peanut porridge are chockful of ingredients; I've discovered scallop, oyster, and other goodies over my many visits here. I don't think anyone else serves porridge that's even close to this. Definitely a must try.

View on GoogleHad coffee toast and eggs for $4.. thick toast bread too thick and not enough butter Kaya. Kaya too sweet, not enough flavour. Butter wasn't cold chunky but melted and spreaded across. Coffee o kosong was not fragrant but still ok, bitter strong. Not diluted. Eggs were medium sized. Yolks over cooked despite me cooking less time than 8 mins advised by them. One yolk wasn't fresh had Sulphur taste stronger than usual. Friendly aunties good service that made up for mediocre food. Not cheap and good imo. Rather go koufu $3.50 for better toast sets.
View on GoogleToday's claypot rice - it took 20 minutes to cook, amazing. Pity no vege (need side order) and 2 salted fish bits not crispy. Tastes yummy overall. Yesterday's sliced fish bee hoon had nice tasting soup. Fish slices were frezh. Should include vege to make it a wonderful complete lunch. Coffee and tea were good. Noticed a table reserved for staff - good welfare effort.
