Ate at this hawker centre a few weeks ago with the retired Member of Parliament for this constituency. He recommended it. I must say he was right. The food was great. We tried the rojak and the fishball noodles. The stall operators were really friendly. They came by our table to say hello to their former MP whom they liked quite fondly. We promised a Malay stall that we would be back to try their Malay curry fishhead.

353 Clementi Avenue 2 Food Centre - this eighteen-stall hawker centre located in a "sleepy" neighbourhood of Clementi may be smaller than the other hawker centres in Singapore, but it has enough good food choices thereat. And I even bother to take a bus here from a bit far away, from the Dairy Farm area, where I live, because of the abovementioned good food choices and its "quieter" than other hawker centre's dining ambience. By the way, my favourite hawker stall at this Food Centre is Jalilah's Corner that serves excellent Malay food staples like nasi lemak, mee rebus and gado gado.

Foods are decent, the taste is okay. The price is affordable depending on the side dishes you choose. I tried nasi lemak, mie soto, soto ayam (consist only sprouts, shredded chicken, and lontong, quite different from soto ayam in Indonesia).

Really great local dessert- generous & friendly stall owner! A must eat- Malay food. Coffee is really good- young chap owner. Fruit stall at the mkt- jackfruit 3 for $5! as SWEET as the stall owner :)

Cosy sized food centre that has been here as long as the HDBs. Good affordably priced local food. Enjoy my dining experience every time I go there. 😃👍✨
