Overall we had a pleasant experience. We arrived around 11:30am on a weekend and were glad to find that it wasn’t too crowded — there were still plenty of seats available. That said, reservations are also an option if you want to be safe. The dim sum was well done — served fresh and hot. Beyond dim sum, they also offer a good variety of Cantonese dishes. We especially enjoyed the roast meats, which were flavorful and satisfying. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a casual meal. The restaurant is spacious, comfortable, and the food quality is consistently good. A place that we visit often for Cantonese food.
View on GoogleIt was supposed to be a happy occasion for birthday dinner. We ordered meal for family and the E Fu noodles was beyond my tolerance of saltiness. I feedback to the resturant but the gentleman denied it was from their outlet and do nothing about it. Can you imagine a birthday noodles need to be threw away? I called up Holland outlet, the manager Pei Si was very helpful, not only she apologised but also offer to replace the noodles even though this disaster dish was not from Holland. This is what I called a responsible manager. I gave her a thumbs up!
View on GoogleGreat variety and comforting dimsum dishes in a heartland mall with good accessibility. I'm impressed by their radish cake - it was moist savoury and steamed excellent. The glutinous rice wrapped in pandan leaf was damn good too - the pandan flavors infused into the starchy and savory rice with that delicious braised sauce, definitely a must get every time! The porridge and fried rice was okay.
View on GoogleFinally got a chance to eat here after many times looking from the Starbucks opposite. 😂😂😂 The meal is good taste. I’m very surprise about the egg soup, the taste very nice, the broccoli are cooked just right, not too soft and not too hard. Desert also a plus point.
View on GoogleUnfortunately, this is a childhood favourite thing that seems on the decline. I don't know if it is staffing issues. Service of food was erratic. One bowl of noodles came, the next was like 15 mins later etc. so if you come with kids, one kid would have almost finished and the other would be complaining about not having anything. The old menu items, like porridge and wanton noodles are still decent. I tried to order a wahdan hor fun which was poorly executed. Wok hei was almost non existent, no char on the noodle at all. Crystal Jade has always been able to charge a premium because of its service and consistent quality. Seems like something has changed. I think the customers are also picking up on this. On a Sunday at around 7pm. The restaurant still has many empty tables. I remember in years gone by, having to queue on weekends at peak times.
