First time visiting 448 Market & Food Centre in the bustling heart of Clementi. So many hawker stalls with tempting and delicious-looking food. Settled on the famous wanton noodles — the owner was friendly, the $4 portion was generous, and the char siu had a nice smoky flavour. Unfortunately, the char kway teow was a letdown, and it was a pity that the well-known fried carrot cake stall was off for the day. Overall, this hawker centre is still worth a visit to explore local hawker favourites.

Great Food Hub: A Gastronomical Gem Worth the Hype (and the Queues) This hawker centre is a true food lover’s paradise, packed with wonderful stalls that serve up incredible eats. There are several iconic spots with notoriously long queues – plus even a Michelin-rated stall in the mix! That’s why I’ve learned not to jump into any line right away. Instead, I take a few minutes to survey all the options and decide exactly what I’m craving. It’s genuinely a one-stop destination for great food, though it comes with a small caveat: most stalls are so busy that service is minimal, and a couple of the more famous ones have stallholders who can come across as rude or unfriendly. But if you can look past the no-frills (and sometimes gruff) service and focus purely on the food, this place delivers serious gastronomical pleasure – and it’s absolutely worth a visit. The food that I loved: Char Kway Teow (Extra eggs and Cockles), Bedok Chwee Kuey, Satay Bee Hoon, Laksa Chicken, Chinese Pork Satay, Wonton Noodles (Average), Handmade Dim Sum and fried Carrot Cake (I prefer the white ones)

Duck rice is good and price is reasonable. Meat is tender and rice is fragrance. The soup have slight herbal light taste. Might need to queue a while for this during lunch hour. Curry chicken at this stall is great with flavourful curry and not too spicy. 2 pairs of Chicken wing and small drumsticks with potatoes. Pair with the rice is a great combo.

Leaving my review here of the western stall 448 Western Food/ O Meal(?). I have included a picture of their storefront for reference. Really good chicken chop and chicken cutlet with thick slices of meat! Sauces were on point and the coleslaw is such a treat! The chicken were prepared fresh upon order and you can see the wall of freshly fried chicken! Worth the buy and best eaten while hot! Accepts CDC voucher as well!

The western food stall that's inside, quite solid. The chicken chop portion is generous and sauce is on point. For $6, this is damn worth it. Can use CDC also. This food center is usually always crowded. A bit hard to find seats so I usually just takeaway.
