''LiHO means "How are you in Hokkien" and we take pride in our name as it celebrates Singapore as a melting pot of culture. A simple greeting of LiHO is a great way for individuals to bond and it is even better with a cup of Singapore’s homegrown tea brand, LiHO TEA.

I’m very upset with the experience I had with the two ladies working at LiHO today. There were many lemon seeds in my drink and I kept biting into them while drinking. It was extremely uncomfortable as I couldn't possibly keep spitting the seeds out while I was outside. I went back to the counter and explained the issue, asking if the seeds could be removed from the drink. However, when I received the replacement cup, it was still filled with lemon seeds. I’m disappointed that the issue was not properly resolved despite bringing it to the staff's attention. Having to drink around so many seeds made the experience very unpleasant and inconvenient.

In a city saturated with bubble tea options, LiHO has become my reliable go-to, not because they're necessarily the absolute best, but because their standard is incredibly consistent across all their branches. You always know you're going to get a quality drink. My personal favourite and usual order is the No. 52 Earl Grey Milk Tea. I love the distinct, fragrant bergamot aroma of the tea, which is both refreshing and comforting. I customise it with their Mixed Sweet Potato Pearls and Aloe Vera. It's a fantastic combination – the pearls are delightfully chewy with a subtle, earthy sweetness, which pairs wonderfully with the light, refreshing bite of the aloe vera. I find that with these toppings, getting 0% sugar is just perfect. My son usually goes for the Classic Milk Tea with Pearls (50% sugar, more for young people :p), and it never disappoints. The milk tea is smooth and well-balanced, and the pearls are always cooked to a nice, chewy consistency. While there might be other brands that excel in specific areas, LiHO's strength is its trustworthiness. It's a solid, dependable choice for the whole family whenever a bubble tea craving hits.

Paid $5.70 for a large cup of no. 76 Passion Roselle Smoothie with Konjac. The drink was refreshing given the hot weather. Although it was 50% sugar, it was still too sweet. Service was great as the lady at the counter waited patiently for me to choose my drink. Then she was also friendly in guiding me to redeem the Far East mall voucher.
