Old school Zi Chai which is still good and tasty. Prices has creep up over the years. $32 for 1 rice, 1 meat and 1 veg for 2pax but if the taste is good is worth the price. We finish every single mossel
View on GoogleFinally get to try this after running pass this area so many times. Food is good and service fast.
View on GoogleUsed to be a regular here until we moved out of the area, during the good old days cars were parked along the road. Glad to see that the food quality maintained, service is (lightning) fast and friendly. I love their Kam Heong fish head, has to be one of the best in Singapore.
View on GoogleThe last time dining in was about 4 - 5 years ago, we make a special visit to try again. We have ordered the black pepper deer meat, house special cooked sotong, prawn omelette and housemade beancurd. First tried and found their standard doesn't improve... deer meat is too much water and doesn't bring up black pepper spice. Sotong is very normal and doesn't tasted any special, omelette just ok and not salty and similar to beancurd no special too, perhaps can able to find from others stalls in Singapore. I have noticed many ordered their fishhead curry. Maybe next time will try (if)
View on GoogleVery reasonable price economical mixed dish style. The food taste good and good for value. I will never miss one of the order in the coffeeshop > that is the Pork Satay. 1 More star just for the satay, 1 of the delicious satay you can find in a neighborhood. Ambience is good, open air > Tables are set on the road surface. Crowded but never have to wait for table.
