Papa cafe has been my go-to spot whenever I’m craving prata and teh tarik. The prata always comes out fresh and crispy, never sitting around, and the fish curry hits every time. Definitely one of my comfort food places.

There’s so many things to be said. First off, the food tasted really bad. I ordered roti john, maggie goreng, samosas, tea and nasi lemak. The bread used for the roti john was stale and it could have been a 10 days old baguette. The nasi lemak was fine because it wasn’t made in house, but to add on one single piece of chicken leg was $5 and it wasn’t even cooked properly. The maggie goreng was not even hot and it was quite bland. I never knew that its even possible to mess up a maggie goreng. I also said that I didn’t want the add on egg and my mom also said the same information but the cashier still managed to key it in wrongly and had to be corrected again. Additionally waiting time was also quite funny, he served the mains first before the samosa, but the samosas were already ready on display. Wow, what a crazy experience and the table was also dirty! I rarely give 1 star reviews but I wish I could give a zero star rating. First and last time eating here!

If you're looking for a place that serves comforting, delicious food that truly feels like home, Papa Café at Choa Chu Kang is a hidden gem that deserves a visit. From the moment you step in, you're welcomed by a cosy atmosphere and the tempting aroma of freshly prepared food that instantly makes you hungry. Whether you're craving a crispy prata, flavourful nasi lemak, hearty poori with potato masala, or a satisfying rava egg thosai, every dish is prepared with care and packed with flavour. What makes Papa Café stand out is how every meal feels warm, comforting, and made with passion, just like food cooked by a family member. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the variety on the menu means there's something for everyone. Pair your meal with one of their hot drinks, sit back, and enjoy the relaxed environment that makes you want to stay a little longer. The friendly staff and welcoming service add to the experience, making customers feel right at home. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, meeting friends for a meal, or simply looking for a place to enjoy good food, Papa Café is the kind of place that keeps people coming back. One visit is often enough to understand why so many customers love it—because at Papa Café, every bite really does feel like home.

Thank you for your reply, but if the CCTV footage was actually reviewed carefully, it would clearly show that the small boy repeatedly struggled to chew the bread and even spat out the mayonnaise onto his plate. My sister also had difficulty chewing the bread because it was hard and stale. Regarding the chicken, the portion that was pink on the inside was obviously not eaten, so saying it was “fully consumed” is inaccurate. The samosas were also not fully eaten. And yes, some food was eaten because we had already paid for it with our own money, but the food taken away which was one samosa and roti john was eventually thrown away anyway due to the poor quality.  Finishing parts of a meal does not automatically mean the food quality was acceptable, especially when customers have already paid and are hungry. My review was based entirely on my genuine experience at your establishment. I also find it unnecessary that CCTV footage and details about who I dined with were brought up publicly in response to a customer review. Customers should be able to leave honest feedback without feeling monitored or invalidated. Maybe instead of arguing with customers in the review section, you could take criticism professionally and use it to improve your food quality and service. Looking at the number of negative reviews across both of your outlets, it seems that other customers have also had concerning experiences. At the end of the day, this was simply a negative dining experience for me and my family, and I stand by the concerns raised in my review.

Best Home-cooked Indian foods in Limbang. ☕️🥞 Family run~ Friendly and delicious foods. Thosai is their signature dish. All the Indian customers said so too. I love their ginger milk tea too because they fresh blend the ginger juice daily. Prata Dum is a fusion dish created by the owner, layers of pratas, meats & curry in claypot. The portion serve 2 people. 🍽 Always happy & been their repeated customer. 😊 P.S small shop, limited space & seats.
