I usually didn’t write review, but the auntie there trigger me. The restaurant accepted my order, but after that we were told to wait another 30 minutes because they were overwhelmed with orders. We had already spent more than 30 minutes waiting. The staff member appeared frustrated, even walking away with a not good attitude, because there were too many orders to handle. I understand they were busy, but customers should not be treated this way. If the restaurant cannot cope with the order volume, they should not continue accepting new orders. Plus, the auntie efficiency is very slow, she take her own sweet time to cook and don’t care about the customer. - I contacted Foodpanda customer support and was told that I could cancel the order, but I would not receive a refund because of the SOP. I don't understand why I should lose my money when the delay was entirely caused by the restaurant. If the waiting time exceeds what was promised after the order has been accepted, customers should be entitled to a refund. Otherwise, what is the benefit of using the app? The system should make things more convenient and protect customers, not leave them worse off than ordering directly from the restaurant.
View on Google⭐️ 1/5 Absolutely terrible customer service. While waiting for my order, I was taking some chilli when the soy sauce accidentally spilled onto my hand. I used a tissue to wipe it and politely asked if I could throw it into their rubbish bin. Before I even had the chance, the auntie suddenly shouted, “OI! Here cannot throw!” and told me to throw it somewhere else. I understand if customers aren’t allowed to use the bin—that’s completely fine. What is not acceptable is the way she spoke to me. There was absolutely no need to shout or be so rude over a single piece of tissue. A simple, polite explanation would have been enough. I’ve never been spoken to like that at a food stall before. If this is how customers are treated over something so minor, I definitely won’t be returning. The food isn’t worth putting up with such disrespectful service. 16july 2026 at around 3.40pm
View on GoogleOrdered 2 chilli ban mee. Wasnt informed long waiting time when ordering. Ended up waiting half hour and the best part when I got home was the order was wrong. Only one was correct….. zzzzzz
View on GoogleI’ll give a zero if I can. I normally do not write bad review as I know how a bad review can affect the company. Today at 6.40pm March 4. I queued for about 5 minutes, and when it was finally my turn, the aunty at the cashier told me that if I wanted ban mian, I would have to wait “very long.” She kept emphasising “very long” repeatedly. I calmly asked how long the wait would be, just an approximate timing so I could decide whether to wait or order something else. Instead of giving a simple estimate, she pointed at the aunty cooking and said, “You ownself see. Very long.” Her tone was dismissive and rude, as though my question was unreasonable. There was absolutely no care for customer service or basic courtesy. I have nothing against aunties working, I respect anyone who works hard. But the attitude of these particular staff members at this outlet is extremely rude and entitled. This is also not my first unpleasant encounter with them. My kids love the noodles, which is why I’ve tolerated the service previously. But after this experience, I won’t be returning. Very disappointed. Nam Kee management should seriously take note of the customer service standards at this outlet. I drove from Hillion and went to Rail Mall’s Nam Kee, because I don’t tolerate bad service from paying customer. Nam Kee, you should take note because these staff will bring your business down.
View on GoogleI’ve been a loyal customer of Nam Kee Pau at The Centerpoint, but my experience at the Hillion Mall outlet was frustrating. I asked a friend to collect_ pau for me and pay via ShopBack. She had the digital receipt, but the counter staff insisted I had to be present in person. After calling HQ and sending a photo of the receipt, they eventually approved the order. Glad it was resolved, but ShopBack is digital payment — staff should be clearer on the policy. Pau was still good as usual.
