$3.50 is such a bargain with so much more egg than others. Old couple with the good old school pan fried carrot cake.

Had the char kway teow for $4.30. Fried extra dark with sweet dark sauce, the way I like it. Generous with the fish cake slices. Good eating. A little more vege would have been excellent. Prep time was a little slow for non rush hour. But I was not in a hurry so all is fine.

This is one of the better pork-free Hokkien mee I had in a long time. The chef is the old man in blue at the stove in the backdrop. The lady sitting at the table in front of the stall should be his wife.

It's always a plate of happiness for $3. The omelette is perfectly pan-fried and makes a filling meal at any time of day.
