Tried the old school western food, nice! Coleslaw very nice, creamy. The chicken chop and pork chop are cooked just right, not tough. The pork chop is also tender. Price chicken chop $7, pork chop $8. If take away extra 20cents…
View on GoogleAh Kou Minced Meat Noddles (3-star): Recommend by my friend who rate it at 5-star. Its special as more vinegar taste and has lots of deep gravy mushroom and fried fish. It has been around since 1945 and move from Hong Lim to Bt Batok. PS: Updated on 28/2/2022: Closed for a long time ==== Updated: 28/2/2022 The Western Food is good, food are btw 3-Star to 5-Star I like their Smoky BBQ Drumlets which comes with cole slaw
View on GoogleSOON HENG WANTON NOODLE Just went to Soon Heng Wanton Noodle to pack shrimp dumpling noodles dry for breakfast. Overall, it tastes good and is also value for money. The shrimp dumplings is amazing, very compact and tightly wrapped and there are fresh shrimps in there as well as some bits of water chestnut giving it texture and crunch. Wonderful. The fried wanton is also wonderful, real comfort food. They sell the variation of wanton noodles with black sauce (a little overdose) but the noodles has very good texture and done al dente. The boss says that he is open to adding less or no nlack sauce or ketchup, if the customer requests. Apparently the boss acquired his skills from the owner of the famous Tanjong Rhu wanton noodles. No wonder there is such similiarity between his noodles and the one a few shops away! I shall visit this stall more often and just request for less black sauce for the noodles. Nice food, friendly hawkers. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleThanks to my friends who introduced me to this place . Auntie was very nice and food to my surprise was even nicer. They cook everything without onion & garlic. Must try teng leaves fried rice, and soup.
View on GoogleCame for Soon Heng wanton mee but it was closed. Decided to support the noodle stall. Ordered laksa takeaway $5. Miserable. laksa comes without fish cake / tau Pok or egg. Literally got served noodles and prawns.
