I’m usually not a fan of cai fan, but this place is definitely decent. Everything was flavourful, and the pork rib was tender and fresh. Every dish was well executed. I actually started writing this review halfway through the meal because I knew it deserved one. Ended up finishing the entire plate while waiting for my waker chicken cutlet rice

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding an unpleasant and concerning experience I encountered at a coffee stall located at 347 Bukit Batok Food Court. While I was queueing, I noticed that the customer in front of me ordered an iced tea and specifically requested for it to be packed in a plastic bag. The staff complied with his request without any issue. However, when it was my turn, I ordered the same drink and made the same request for it to be placed in a plastic bag. To my surprise, the staff (an auntie) rejected my request outright. I then politely asked why my request could not be accommodated, especially since the previous customer was allowed to do so. She responded by saying “no reason” and insisted that I could only purchase the drink in a cup. This felt inconsistent and unfair. What made the situation more concerning was that the previous customer appeared to be of a different race from me. This led me to feel that I may have been treated differently based on my race. Additionally, another staff member spoke to her in Chinese, saying that if I did not want to accept the drink in a cup, then I should not be served at all. This experience left me feeling disrespected and discriminated against. As a customer, I expect fair and equal treatment regardless of race or background. I hope this matter can be looked into seriously, and that appropriate actions will be taken to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and fairness in the future.

Patronised Kimly Teochew Porridge in this coffee shop. Even the dishes are not teochew porridge type, decided to try. We were very disappointed of the standard. Dishes are cold and tasteless, the lala were not properly clean to getting rid of the sand. Likely are frozen. The price is costly. Asked the price of fish and lala before ordered. Thinking the vegs, tau kwa and fish cake are not going to be expensive but we are wrong. The lala and fish are $18 but the others add up to $46. Just got robbed. The red bowl of gravy is supposed to be 卤汁 fyi.

Just moved here recently. Chanced upon this coffee shop and was amazed at how affordable the mixed veg rice is and even more amazed at how good the dishes all taste. Long queues will form during lunch time and of course during dinner time. They offer affordable economical dishes like stir fried greens, fried eggs, steamed eggs as well as more costly dishes like the smallish steamed garouper, the sting ray in assam sauce and miniature yam rings. Another discovery is the stall selling fried carrot cake and some other fried dishes, Ming Ji. Most of the time, u will have to wait but its worth it. This stall offer fried carrot cake (white version) done in the style like that of the famous carrot cake stall at the 7th mile Bukit Timah hawker centre (double storey, near Beauty World MRT station) all patted down and then divided up into squares before dishing them onto the plate. I don't think they make their own carrot cake though. But really, it does not matter cos with the superb skills of the stallholder, it just taste so yummy! Definitely worth the wait!

Plenty choice of food to chose. $2.80 Fish ball noodle very economical. So far this cheapest i come by👀 Fried Hokkien Me nice. Can smell 🌶 fragrance. New stall Waker Chicken selling Korean style fried chicken. Tried original flavor and find taste abit light as compare to other fried chicken outlet. Most customer take initiative to return utensils 👍but ending no one clean table👎 Lights off after 1030pm, if need light to eat recommend to eat inside
