Huge popiah, lots of freshly sliced cucumber, lettuce, boiled egg & lightly boiled turnip with very crunchy bits, sauce, wrapped inside 2 fresh skin only $2.40 each. Can include fresh garlic paste, chilli paste & peanuts. Very yummy & healthy. Stall ladies very friendly too.

I ordered at the economy rice store. I ordered this spicy popcorn chicken, it came cold and hard. I asked them if I can change to a different meat and they had the balls to say it’s like that. It’s suppose to be tough and cold??? What??? Shouldn’t you be trying to keep your food nice and warm…??? What kind of response is this.

15 Jan 2025 Ordered fishball noodle for breakfast. Taste of noodle is still nice but ingredients has reduced especially the fish cake Only 2 slices. This bowl of noodles cost $3.50. Service level from the lady boss deserves 1 star. Attitude Still didn't improve. To be fair , her 2 helpers and her husband's attitude are way better. They serve with thanks. *********** 17.03.2025 Giving another chance to eat the Fishball noodles. Happened that the lady boss's turn to cook. The young lady helper prepared the noodle and bean sprouts, but when the lady boss cook, she reduces the noodle portion by taking it out. It's so unbelievably bad. The noodle portion is so small. Anyway, I am not patronising this stall anymore even it taste nice. I will walk over to Blk 323 Coffeeshop next time to try the fishball noodles newly sold by the Wanton stall. Heard the Fishball is super good and value for money. Will update my review under the 323 Coffeeshop the next time. ********

The economic bee hoon standard and portion really dropped alot after changing hand. The old couples has either handed over or sold the business but the branding is still the same. After reno, its even worse. The portion is probably 2 tiny scoops only after rI removed the ingredients as seen in pic. 2 chicken wing, 1 egg and mixed bee hoon + kuay teow for $5.20, last time I will ever patronise them.

A typical neighborhood coffee shop but the wanton and fish ball noodles were good. Not like any other typical chain stores like Fei Siong or those in food courts that are forever inconsistent in taste. Both of these wanton and fish ball / bah chor mee stalls were my favorite comfort food when I'm back from my overseas' trip which is fairly near to me.
