They do the "simple" dishes really well. Great wok hei and very affordable. Definitely a neighborhood gem! The Highlights: • Half-Price Steamed Fish: The best deal here! Even at half price, the fish is fresh, silky, and cooked perfectly. A total steal. • Onion Beef: Very tender beef with a nice savory sweetness from the onions. • Bitter Gourd Fried Egg: Well-balanced flavor and not too bitter. The egg has a nice char to it. • French Beans: Simple, crunchy, and full of garlic.

Good filler for stomach but lacking in the wok hei taste. Also really affordable for 7 dishes. The coffee shop looks quite newly renovated. There is another coffee shop beside that serve Halal cuisine. Quite crowded during the dinner time.

This place is probably the lowest rated business that we've ever dared to try. With a review score of 2.9 (Jul 2024), frankly I was not inclined but wifey was craving for fish head curry and so we gave it a shot. The lady taking our order was fairly cheery so we got off to a good start. Food arrived at our table relatively quickly as well. But the curry was not steaming hot if I'm being picky. Half slice of a fish head costs $24, which is the usual coffeeshop prices these days. In terms of taste, we both agreed it wasn't the best of the best, but neither was it bad. The fish head was pretty fresh, big and meaty too. Two of us had our fill easily. Based on our experience, 2.9 is a bit harsh on them. But I think given time, if they keep up the standards, the rating would eventually be pulled up. So I'm giving 4 stars to help them along.

First visit. Fish head curry was very diluted and not fragrant. Salted egg sotong was mid, too much coating and too chewy. Good portion size though. Overall quite an average zichar experience, would prefer other zichars stalls.

Newly renovated coffee shop. Curry fish head - gravy is thick, fish head is somewhat small. Bean sprout- nicely cook and crunchy Pork ribs - flavorful with a decent mixed of sweet and salty, meat is not tough Kampong chicken- it is big, but a little dry and might be better if it is more tender. Tried their fried bee hoon previously, not crispy enough. Portion of their chicken claypot rice is really quite small.
