My wife and I were here this morning for brunch. It was my second time here year in many years, but my wife's first time here. We ordered the following: an Onion Prata and a Teh Tarik for my wife, a "Sarang Burung" and a Coke Zero for me, and we shared a Plain Prata prepared in a crispy way. For starters, the food and beverages here are all reasonably priced. The Pratas in general were very good - and you can ask for it to be done in the way you want it. The "Sarang Burung" or "Bird's Nest" in the Malay language was both very good and very "pretty." The Teh Tarik here was also very good. Service here, for first timers, might seem to be too presumptuous, but that's because the boss and the crew here are the kind of people who treat all their customers as if they are regulars and friends of the place. The dining ambience here was comfortable and "rustic" as it's set in a quiet neighbourhood off Hillview Avenue.

I don’t ever complain about food. But last night I ordered (grab) chilli chicken and butter chicken. It felt like I was chewing sugar with chicken. It was disgusting. How can a chilli chicken just taste like sugar. There was three of us eating it and we all found it heinous, including my aunt who is the most grateful person I know. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. It’s been almost 10 hours since , I still feel the disgusting taste of sugar in my mouth. I really hope it’s a one off, but please y’all can do so much better.

brilliant food, ive been coming here since I was a child. Friendly owner and very welcoming. Prata is very crispy and the fish curry is the best ive tasted in singapore - for real. Quality ingredients and friendly staff. Good location aswell

Nice tranquil kampung vibes... The boss and staff are very attentive, warm and friendly.. $10/- Mutton murtabak (ONLY BEFORE 12NOON AND AFTER 4PM) tasted very flavourful. Better than Zam Zam. Much much better than Springleaf. The curry wasn't really required. 5/5 $9 Mutton biryani.. super good quality basmati that is lighter in ghee but still super aromatic from the spices... Mutton was very flavourful. Better than Zam Zam. $1.50/- Teh Halia impressively strong and robust tea taste. Very consistent 5/5 Come here if you wanna relak one korner with free parking good food and good vibes... Away from stuffy malls and over-rated places.
