The food was very good. All the dishes were enjoyable and the portions were generous. Our group of 8 walked away satisfied and wanting more but our bellies were too full. 😂 Service was good and the staff were friendly. My only gripe is the limited parking space and the narrow lanes within the property. Be careful where you park if you don’t want to be obstructing others.

Located within the Hakka Khek Community Guild building. Seafood here is nice. Has a wide variety of food and the place is clean. Portion is quite filling and service is great. Parking is very limited at a cramp area caused it’s an old building place. Good chinese food in the area. Just beside the temple.

The only bald head guy who seems to be the person in charge recommended me to order this small bowl of sharksfin which cost $38/serving saying the quality is much better but turns out it tasted horrible and they put everything like the bean sprouts and coriander and cook inside the dark soup together with some fins & crabmeat. I wanted to order the cheaper one which cost $22 because I have no confident in this dish but since he recommended then I gave it a try. And this is the worst Sharkfins soup I have ever tasted and gave up after having a few spoon. When I feed back to him, he used a spoon and stir the soup a few times and said he will give a discount! Next the crab is not fresh or still alive before cooking because the fresh stick to the shell and the shell is very hard and thick and they do not even brother to help smash the shell, making it so difficult to eat and I have to hammer it on my plate with so much strength! I think the whole restaurant can hear the smashing. The only dish that is ok is the drunken prawns. And at the end of the day, what’s is the point of giving me only 15% on the sharksfin soup when I did not even eat more than 3 spoons and still cost $32 after the 15% discount? To me, that bowl of sharksfin is not even worth $10! And service was very bad till I have to ask them to change my plate which is so full of shells despite the fact that there were only a few tables that were occupied. My advice to all patrons out there, this restaurant is not a proper place to eat crabs and definitely not Sharks fin soup as it is not their specialty. But think their small dishes like Zhi char should taste better. There are many much better and honest seafood restaurants out there that we can settle with a better price.

If you intend to have CNY reunion dinner here, maybe consider elsewhere. Food overall was quite mid with stellar baked or fried chicken but the sauce on the side was quite sadly little. 盆菜had very nice prawns. Service was very lacking for a restaurant. We had to change plates ourselves, walk about to top up the hot water for our tea. Besides the louhei that got serviced all other foods we had to split by ourselves and self service. Staff seemed to be lost and served wrong foods to wrong table. We returned a roasted suckling pig as organiser stopped us from digging in as she was sure it was not part of our menu. Male server who took it back was rude and commented that we already had another free extra dish, the pig trotter(tasted quite meh btw). He seemed angry about it too. Seriously? So there was not one wrong order but two to the same table (our reunion dinner had only one table). We show up for reunion dinner, to catch up over dinner. I didn’t think we were expected to memorise our dinner menu. If manpower is an issue maybe accept less tables? Or just train your staff to be more efficient? Atmosphere was quite bad too. Squeezy to move between tables to reach the toilet and the restaurant aircon was not strong enough. Or maybe the door was left open. Anyway, broke out in a sweat midway through eating. Overall a very mid or average food place with below par service. P.S. part timer waitress was the only person that made us feel welcome. All smiles and polite. Male server either hates his job or hates all customers.

Tradition Chinese restaurant with solid tasting food at decent prices. Tucked in the corner of bukit panjang, parking is almost impossible, so I guess park opposite or take a cab. Food wise, their chicken specialty dish is really nice. It's like 乳猪 roasted kind of taste. All other dishes are really good. Got the old school Chinese restaurant taste.
