A small shop operating like a traditional coffeeshop. We had mee siam and kopi‑O kosong. It was okay and nothing particularly stood out. Good for a quick eat‑and‑go.

A new cafe in Bukit Batok neighbourhood serving traditional kopi / teh with toasts, peanut porridge, nasi lemak, etc. Tried their nice kopi-O with not-too-sweet butter-kaya toasts and soft-boiled egg for breakfast. Their nasi lemak with fried fish — have fried egg option too — is quite a big packet so I bought one for lunch.

Feeling like a traditional coffee place and really appreciated the cosy setup and atmosphere. However, I think cleanliness could be an area for improvement. I noticed that the man preparing the bread handled many tasks such as taking orders (writing and collecting money), wiping the table, scratching his stomach without washing hands or using gloves and preparing the food. This made me a bit uncomfortable to watch, and I believe maintaining better hygiene during food preparation would make the experience much more enjoyable for customers.

Chance upon a new cafe. Nice coffee. Toast is average but the egg mayo is super nice!
