One of the best things about Bukit Batok. One of, if not the best char siew and roasted pork in Singapore. The char siew had options of lean, mixed, or fatty, with their signature rice bowl. With a deep and rich caramelization and smoky applewood flavor, each bite had the perfect balance of fatty richness and smoky sweetness. The acroutrements with the signature rice bowl blended perfectly with the crispy pork lard with a tinge of saltiness and a perfectly fried egg. The best way to enjoy it is to just mix everything and dig into it. The shao rou had a nice crispy skin with a well balanced mix of fat and meat, and the fatty duck had a unique flavor due to the dry-aging it undergoes. The refillable soup was delicious and you could taste the sweetness and effort poured into every drop. However, the bowl is quite small and hence refills were often since it was often finished quickly. Overall, one of the best roast meat places in Singapore. Although expensive, it is worth every single dollar.

The standout dish was definitely the char siew. Unlike many places that use pork belly, they use Indonesian bu jian tian (armpit cut), which has a nice balance of lean meat and fat. The fat was rich yet delicate, melting in the mouth without feeling overly greasy. It was easily the best item we ordered and the main reason I would consider returning. However, I found the pricing difficult to justify. Plain tossed egg noodles (no ingredients): $4.80++ Plain tossed duck egg noodles (no ingredients): $5.80++ Quarter roasted London duck: $25.80++ The plain noodles were simply tossed noodles without any ingredients, making the price feel quite steep. The quarter duck was also noticeably smaller than expected for nearly $25.80++, so the value for money wasn't there in my opinion. Overall, the food quality is decent, especially the char siew, but the prices are on an extremely high side. If you're planning to visit, I'd recommend trying the char siew, but be prepared to pay a premium. Personally, I don't mind paying more for good food, but I also expect the portion size and overall value to match the price. This doesn't.

1 of the best char siew we have eaten. The bottle chilli is amazing, so good when you add into the noodles. Must order the signature noodles. The London Duck was not bad. The collagen soup that come with the wanton mee is great and can top up once. The only drawback is the place is a bit noisy probably because the place is not huge. Service staff are great

$15++ for the signature noodles. If I ignored the price tag, I’d say it’s a pretty good bowl of noodles overall. The char siew is good, but you can get something similar at many quality roast meat shops. The noodles, on the other hand, are quite unique and stand out. While the food is enjoyable, it’s difficult to justify paying over $15 for a bowl of noodles.

Came here to try the Char Siu noodles. The prices are definitely at restaurant level, but given that it’s a comfortable air-conditioned eatery, it feels justified for a nice sit-down meal. The noodles themselves were perfectly cooked—springy and with a great bite. I really appreciated that you can actually choose your preferred cut of Char Siu: lean, mixed, or fatty. I went with the mixed meat option, which was the right call—it gave me the best of both worlds with the tenderness of the fat and the texture of the lean. The regular 招牌面 (signature noodles) comes with two dumplings, which was a nice bonus ($12.80 ++) The soup, made from pork bone and scallop, was savory and flavorful. The fact that they allow free refills on the soup is a huge plus! Side note: The iced coffee is yummy and hits the spot, but at $5, it is a little on the pricey side. Overall, a very satisfying bowl of noodles
