Wan Hao Kopitiam has recently undergone a renovation, and the overall dining environment is now much more pleasant and comfortable compared to the old coffee shop. During my visit, I tried food from New Chef Western and 217 Fishball Noodle. The prices at New Chef Western are noticeably higher than what you would typically expect at a neighbourhood kopitiam, especially for the chicken chop, pork chop, and beef dishes. I ordered the Black Pepper Farm Chicken Chop, which had been recommended by several food influencers. Unfortunately, I found the taste rather ordinary and not particularly outstanding. Considering the price, it did not quite meet my expectations. The 217 Fishball Noodle was even more disappointing. The noodles lacked flavour, and the overall quality was below standard. It was not an enjoyable meal and honestly spoiled my appetite. That said, Wan Hao Kopitiam offers a good variety of food stalls, so I may return to try some of the other options. The Vietnamese food stall and Shun Heng BBQ look promising and could be worth a try on my next visit.
View on GoogleThe Chinese noodle shop has pretty good porridge. My favourite order is the lean pork liver porridge as they will stir fry the meat and then put it into the hot porridge making it extremely tasty!
View on GoogleWide variety of food. Shun Heng BBQ is the stall I often patron. Place is spacious and clean with adequate staff.
