Possibly the best sheng jian bao I've ever tasted! And I really enjoyed their hong you chao shou noodles as well. Highly recommended (for ppl who don't hate the taste of vinegar).
View on GoogleOur favourite Sheng Jian Pau place in Singapore! But the zhajiang mian and xiaolongbao pau is top notch too! So we frequent this place quite often and when we do the orders stack up. Today, our orders are 4 sets of xiaolongbao, 4 sets of Sheng Jian Pau, 4 sets of zha jiang mian and 1 set of jiaozi - which I should have ordered at least 2 coz they were gone too quickly! All this food for 6 pax! Definitely highly recommended. Peak hours will have queue though, so if you don't like queueing, come before or after peak.
View on GoogleTried pork wanton in chili oil, chives and pork wanton, pan fried pork bun, Xiao long bao… Liked most of the items except the chili oil wanton The chili oil has a weird taste which I don’t know how to describe. Doesn’t go well with the wanton at all. Probably one of the the worst I have eaten so far.
View on GoogleFinally tried the pan fried 生煎包 which my friend loves. It is quite nice and juicy and worth the calories. They must be paired with sliced ginger and vinegar for that extra kick!!
View on GoogleWent on their opening day. The pan fried buns were fresh and superb! Zhajiang mein is 5 star. And the pork wanton noodles is great. The broths are savoury and the skin is thin. Lets hope they keep their standards up.
