Tried their duck rice, duck noodles and kway chup numerous times. Nothing to wow about and also nothing to complain, very decent and normal in taste , portion wise is also decent , kway chup chili is also decent with the right balance of spiciness and vinegar Duck rice chili is not available for self service. Only served when u order duck. I do agree sometimes they do give wrong or missed some orders. Happened twice to me when I ordered from online platform. Eg. Kway chup with no soup and missing duck noodles Just to share , if you ordering above $20-25, you do save a little using the online platform like grab as they have stacking discounts
View on GoogleHad ordered specifically Tau pok, Tau gua, egg, duck and peanut only and 4 rice which was acknowledged and came up to $35.50. I roughly saw that their kway chap set was 11.00 for 2, so adding peanut and duck, possibly about there for 4 pax. Only when I came home did I realise she gave me everything the usual kway chap had which was the skin, innards too which I did not want. Taste wise, their braised sauce is not bad but overall as per most of the reviews, overall just typical, but I felt they seem dishonest, besides not giving me what I specifically ordered, the duck was mostly bones with not much meat. Guess they knew I could only see that when home. So think besides their duck rice set, wont really be eating from this stall again.
View on GoogleTook away duck rice, added extra meat and fish cake. So good I went back the next day. The soup was the star, verbally goodness.
View on Google9 Jan 2026 I had kway chap ($5.50) from this store 2-3 times quite awhile back before this experience. Generally I like the taste. I had a very messy plate. When I sorted out - 1 egg, 2-3 pieces of fish cake, a lot of tau pok & pork skin, 3 big pieces of large intestine, missing beancurd, 2-3 pieces of fatty pork with all fats and hardly meat. I felt something amiss, finished my meal and decided to check online to confirm my experience. Well, it’s still the same 2 ladies mending the store and nothing change except I didn’t get the value I should have for $5.50 kway chap. My last time at this store for this shabby experience.
View on GoogleNice soft duck and Kway chap set. We bought two different sets to try with kway chap to go with. The kway chap is quite nice and herbal. Definitely better than one of the many franchise shops of Yu Kee as the duck meat is really nice and soft. The kway chap is a bit clumpy but other than that the soup is nice.
