Visited when it just opened and now after 5mths Had a bad experience during their first few weeks of operation. Queuing system doesn’t seems to help their ordering, operation was slow even though they had 4-5 staffs working in the stall. The queue and orders are not a lot. Counted less than 5 bowls in front of me. But have to wait more than 30mins. Had a craving for laksa so decided to try again Now they streamlined to 2 staffs, 1 order and pack while 1 cook. Laksa is light, not too spicy. Good mix of ingredients , tau kee, 2 fried fishball, fish cakes, tau pok. Fish cakes tasted stale to me Would prefer my laksa to have hard boiled egg Overall Food is ok just that the service is pretty slow
View on GoogleMeat dumplings were of a good size and packed with pork and chestnut. Mildly flavoured and of good texture. Soup was flavorsome as well. Noodle was well seasoned and cooked a tad too soft. The pork lard gave it a little oomph. Its chili packed a punch.
View on GoogleIf you’re tomyam lover and fish soup lover, please avoid this shop. Long time never go already but still decided to give them another chance. I ordered fish soup meehoon and already paid. While they were cooking, one China woman suddenly said, “Very late already, no more vegetables. Next time come then I give you back.” The funny thing is why are you making the decision for me? I said it’s unfair and not worth it, then she casually threw in one fishball like that can replace the vegetables. And the worst part is, their “fish soup” is not even real fish broth. It tastes like those bak chor mee soup base. Really disgusting and disappointing.
View on GoogleA good Teochew noodle stall at Bukit Batok West Hawker Centre. The noodles are cooked perfectly with a nice springy texture, and the seasoning is well-balanced. The soup is flavourful without being too salty, and the ingredients are fresh. Friendly service and good portions for the price. A solid choice if you enjoy classic Teochew-style noodles.
View on GoogleOne word: Horrible. The sliced fish soup is so salty, I wonder how they do such a simple dish wrong. The fried fish is packed with flour that you can't really taste the meat. Avoid for the sake of your tongue.
