Very bad attitude. First time I takeaway porridge and the dishes are packed together with the porridge. I was queuing up to order and was observing the slightly round, bespectacled uncle. He was nice and polite to the customers. When it was almost my turn, another uncle without glasses returned to the stall, and started hurrying things. Attitude was bad, and even affected the bespectacled uncle. He started being rushy as well, as though he was terrorised by the other uncle. Terrible experience. Think twice about giving them business.

This review is for the mixed vegetable rice stall... Ordered a slice of stingray, curry pork and tofu today. To my surprise, the total cost is $10.90 and the young chap manning the stall saying the small slice of stingray costs $7.50 (he wasn't very confident when I ask him how come this cost so much) Well... Lesson learned

I don’t think I would ever patronise this stall again. The uncle that scoops the ingredients was very rude, raising his voice and speaking in a super unfriendly tone, which is a huge turn off, as this was my first time buying from this stall. In case you were wondering, it was $4.70 for that plate of food btw, and the one on the right is fish fried with batter, with 90% batter and 10% fish, that’s pretty much the only meat there. It’s basically overpriced food that tastes average, nothing special.

I want to buy a breakfast in the new Bukit Batok West Hawker Centre , pass by the stall that sells economical rice and noodles. I ordered a mee hoon with egg and lunchmeat it cost $3.60. The price is more expensive than many other stalls, at that area, including coffee shops and food court . Taste also normal and portion not alot. See how them fried the egg. I can fried better

If there is a zero star, that is what I will give. Poor service, poor & argumentative staff attitude & stingy with food portion. My husband and I are frequent patrons of this economic rice store since it opened around 2 months ago. first 2 visits, the portions have been great. Subsequently, the portions gets lesser and lesser and food quality also reduced. Today during my visit, I ordered sweet and sour pork and the staff only gave me 3 small pieces of meat, very little vege and very little potato. Not sure what’s with the poor serving and when I asked about it, they told me “the boss asked us to do this” without even thinking to do some service recovery? And when I mentioned if this is the portion I’m getting compared to before, and I’m paying the same price, then why should I patronise them, the girl staff raised her voice at me and said “THEN YOU DONT EAT” Sure. It’s never about the amount I have to pay, but about upkeeping the standards and having basic service attitude. When we were leaving, another staff was doing the serving (man in photo) please patronise them only when this guy is the server. Becus he gives big portions.. So is it the boss say one, or is the staff has some issue 😅
