Review for the fish soup store - My bitter gourd fish soup with mee hoon kuey was nice and chewy but unfortunately the soup was way too salty to be palatable. Nonetheless, this store has been around since before the renovation, for good reasons!

Review for Huat Huat Steamed Fish! First time trying. Portions are bigger than what I usually had at this price. $7 HK Seabass. Comes with a side dish (Kai Lan, Bean Sprouts or Okra). My favourite kind of sauce. Good taste, clean fish no funny smell. Fast and polite service. Check it out dude

Newly renovated coffeeshop. Used to be quite stuffy and hot inside the coffeeshop. Now is so spacious, clean and well ventilated. Had tried the cai peng, not bad. The prawn mee stall is still there. Worth trying out!

Reopened after renovation on 8 Dec with new stalls; braised duck (Kway Chap), roasted pork pepper siup (Bak Kut Teh) & Huat Huat steamed fish, but the latter is not open yet. I tried the new Kway Chap. A fan of Yee Kee braised duck & kway chap, it would be unfair to benchmark its dark sauce, keay chap chilli sauce, and sambal chilli sauce. They have their own formulae. Most importantly, its duck meat tastes good, and unlike the popular prawn noodle that has 2 other competitors here, it is the one and only one Kway Chap in this vicinity. Take note: slight change in menu of Wen Chang Kee roasted pork and chicken rice.

The pancake is way better than the famous multi chain store which originate in Yishun. Not sure why owner did not list in google map. Nice crispy , fair size and affordable.
