Mongkok Dim Sum never fails to impress, and remains a reliable go-to when you’re out of lunch ideas. What started as a single outlet has now expanded across the street—a testament to its popularity. The food is consistently good. The beef hor fun, whether wet or dry, is always a winner. The pork ribs are well-marinated, and the soup is light yet flavourful, slow-stewed to perfection. Even after multiple visits, the standards have never slipped. Service is excellent, but it’s best to avoid peak lunch and dinner hours—come early, or be prepared to queue. Highly recommended.
View on GoogleHad very high expectations of this place. There are some food that are really great —> Har gao, carrot cake and steamed pork ribs but I was very disappointed with the kou rou pau. Look at how big the fats are where is the meat?!!!! The other dishes like Prawn paste chicken are ok but abit mid. I think you need to order the right dishes here.
View on GoogleWhat a big selection of food and even have dimsum 24/7. I like the stir fried beef hor fun more than the signature saucy one. Haha their soups are very delicious and fresh. Vegetables well cooked too. Will be back!
View on GoogleAir-conditioning above me wasn't switched on. Had to alert staff. It was really warm that evening. Ccf with filling (zha leong) is badly done. Youtiao filling was stale. Dim sum served crispy n hot. Rice came with steam 👍🏼👍🏼 Drinks r good. Service recovery was good but there was no apology fr staff, n no smile too. Prefer napkins to be placed on table. Ordering system requires customers to write down item no. on order form n submit by hand to d counter. Cumbersome esp. when restaurant is crowded. Any chance to simplify this process? Seats placed v close to condiments. A little difficult to access.
View on GoogleWe tried 3 dishes and all were great! 1. Fried dumplings with pork & seafood 👍 2. Beef hor fun 👍 3. Prawn paste chicken chop noodles 👍 1. Fried dumplings with pork and seafood looked lackluster but don't be fooled by the appearance! The pork and shrimp were a good mix (great texture) and the frying batter tasted fresh and not stale! 2. Beef hor fun tasted like beef char kway teow with tender slices of beef! Came with great wok hey and good mixture of black sauce and eggs 👍 Portion was huge too! 3. Prawn paste chicken chop is juicy and tender and noodles were like fresh la mian texture! No weird alkaline taste and not too soggy! A little chewy and the portion was huge too! We prefer to sit outside cause it's quite echo-ish in the shop! They have 2 shops just right across the road and there's no difference in the food served between the two 👍 They accept CDC vouchers too!
