Liking the BKT herbal taste and smell, though if the herbs can be a bit stronger, will be better:). I also like that the pork ribs is chop into smaller pieces (personal preference). Soup base is thick and flavourful and hence not requiring top up of soup though is refillable. Likely also weather too hot. If it is rainy, for sure, will ask for more:).
View on GoogleLocated nearby Springleaf MRT station, this store sells a variety of dishes. Tried their prawn noodles for $6 a bowl. There are 4 halves of medium size prawn, with lots of pork slices and kang kong, bean sprouts and fried onions. The broth is delicious with prawn unami and quite generous with their pork slices. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Will come back to try their bak kut teh next time.
View on GoogleThe place is quite airy. They have wide variety of food. I have ordered prawn noodle soup with added meat ball which cost around $7.50. Meatball amount is quite a lot. Prawn noodle broth is rich with prawn and bone broth.
View on GoogleHong Ji serves exceptional Bak Kut Teh with aromatic herbal flavours. As well as the food being delicious, the value you get here is unmatched. The pork Bak Kut Teh I ordered was only $7, and had so much meat that I asked for another bowl of rice. Amazing service from the restaurant as well, they were friendly and took care of any problems I had. Overall, amazing restaurant experience and food at hawker food prices. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!
View on GoogleHong Ji Herbs Bak Kut Teh 宏记 offers exceptional claypot bak kut teh with a rich, aromatic herbal broth that perfectly complements the tender pork ribs. Their signature dish comes with generous portions of fried tofu, lettuce, and delicious side dishes including kidney beans and pickled vegetables. The casual setting opposite Springleaf MRT provides an authentic Singaporean dining experience with reasonable prices. A hidden gem for traditional herbal bak kut teh enthusiasts. 😊👍🏻✨
