Best Kopitiam Corner I’ve visited. Spent $3.50 for a meal with tea. I had a budget meal of pao fan. It won’t fill your stomach fully but the portion is like a bowl of rice + soup. The ingredients (vegetables and meat) are just enough with an egg inside. I feel it’s a simple meal yet healthy and nutritional. Having a union card gives you special price of 50 cents for a cup of tea. Only in the month of May.

Relatively small kopitiam. 6 stall plus one drink stall. The nasi stall price on higher side n can be slow when there are a few orders. Taste is ok. I must have arrived for lunch on weekend at a bad time. Several people ahead in the malformed queue until no one knows which is the end of the queue. The kitchen n cashier were disorganised n the dishes coming out in random order. I ordered two dishes but cashier gave me three , and insisted i ordered three. But again likely it was a bad day else the business will not survive.

Agreed w most that the stalls at Kopitiam @ blk 504 Yishun just seemed to remain unsustainable over the last 3 or 4 years. There is this newly setup stall (发光) that sells bak kut teh and braised dishes, so our family decided to give it a try last night for our dinner. I must say that the braised dishes are of certain standard & they are reasonably priced with the use of "Kopitiam card". I do hope it can sustain well with the minced meat noodle & Indian stall but Kopitiam perhaps should make more efforts to bring in quality food vendors to attract more crowd cos it is really strange to see a coffeeshop with only a few stalls yet occupying a big space area for years. It beats me if Kopitiam is doing anything after seeing several past critics on how this branch is being managed. I gave 4 star to the new stall but only 2 to Kopitiam, so that makes 3 to encourage Kopitiam to do stg about this 😊

You can forget about coming here. The price and the breakfast set, you can get better ones else where. Eg Wisteria Mall KouFu serve better breakfast set for cheaper price and with aircon ! Just look at the bread! Your own judgement. Atmosphere - 3 stars becos you can get all the seats you want. But hot morning sun shining in.

Brings back childhood memories eating this mince meat noodle $4.50. Ask for black vinegar and bean sprouts. There’s a promotion going on currently - buy 11 and get 1 free. You can get prawn noodles and laksa too. I’ve enjoyed all of them. Open 7am to 7pm.
