the turtles are such cutiepies, got to learn so much about them too, honestly so sad most are endangered. Feeding them was fun and the food’s reasonably priced too. also there’s this aircon room with so many turtle related artifacts from all over the world, the staffs are very nice too! only con is that no toilets at all, and the outdoor area gets very hot when the weather is warm.
View on GoogleUnique place if you are interested in tortoises, although there is a limited range of things to do as the space is quite small. There is still a good variety of tortoises, and one highlight is that you can feed them. They are not shy at all and are quite greedy, so they will readily eat from your hand, which makes for a fun and interactive experience. That said, the place feels more like a backyard farm rather than a proper attraction or museum. For example, their tanks and ponds are kept without filtration, and the water in certain areas appears rather dirty. I understand this could be due to cost constraints or temporary limitations, as they may not want to set up permanent infrastructure or electrical points if they know they will be relocating. Hopefully, when they move to a new location, there will be improvements in terms of filtration systems, overall cleanliness, and facility standards to better support the animals and enhance the visitor experience.
View on GoogleWent with my child and had a fun time there! Tickets were affordable, and had a wide range of tortoises and turtles. There is even a air-conditioned room next to the entrance. Really recommend this place!
View on GoogleFinally step our foot there, so unreal to be able to be so close to the big and small tortoise, feeding is easy for visitors too, just buy their tortoise food (pellet or vegetable) at $2 each and feed to the turtles. For parents who are bringing children there, remember to spray mosquito repellent. Worth visiting and will definitely come again. My little one asks to visit every weekend after today’s first time visit. There’s a Sunday cafe called “Touch Wood”worth visiting too, it’s just down the road. Moving in 2 weeks time, what a pity!
View on GoogleWe went to the Turtle Live Museum on the last weekend before it closed to the public by 28th Feb 2025. The place is really a haven for the many different turtles and it even has a Guinness World Record for the most number of turtles in a place of over 1000 live species and more than 3000 turtles. Place is simple but turtles are cared for. There are feeds of vegetables to pallets that you can buy to feed the free roaming turtles. Some of them are kept in tanks as they can be territorial and have more space to themselves. Some of the bigger species are kept in enclosures. They have huge snapping turtles and soft shell turtles, as well as one giant tortoise free roaming which seem to prefer vegetable stems to other foods. Overall a pleasant experience and nice place to let the family get to know more about these turtles.
