I used to like the oyster mee suah. But the braised pork rice cannot make it. Felt like eating left over food from a few days ago kept in the fridge and reheated. Tastes bad and bit sourly like not freshly cooked. Some part taste like nonya dumplings.
View on GoogleHorrible. First and last time patronising this shop. Barely any queue when I ordered and still had to wait almost 20min just for a pork cutlet and sweet potato fries which both were not even hot. The pork cutlet was so hard, bland and there was barely much meat and instead almost all skin? I have never eaten such bad cutlet before. There were a cashier and 2 other staff present but they clearly had trouble keeping up with the orders, and instead prioritizing mostly the meesua, and neglecting the rest of the fried orders—which is probably why they all went cold and hard. Very disappointed in such a standard for this steep price and long wait. Give it a skip, please.
View on Googlehands down one of the best "street food" in causeway point. frequent customer for years already, the standard of their food hasnt dropped even though they had some renovations to the store. staff is extremely welcoming, and waiting time was understandable. personally, i think its better than shi lin's chicken n meesua! but that may just be me. more flavourful and texture is just better. meat into bento sets seemed to have increased. what u pay is what u get. i'd be happy to spend another $7.50 for this bento set 😋 TRY THEIR HOT SPICY MALA CHIX IF U LOVE SPICY CHICKEN! u wont be disappointed.
View on GoogleCutting corners Will never patronizing again. You order the set for a cutlet, they purposely add less rice and smash it to make the portion look huge? Same for chicken as well. So expensive yet such stingy portions. FYI the 鹵肉/braised pork is like 80% sauce and 20% meat.
View on Googletried the rice bowl and was impressed with how flavourful the meat is! It was an appropriate amount of spicy; would definitely be back to try the other dishes
