Dropped by Hot Tomato at Causeway Point in Woodlands for a casual meal and left pretty satisfied. The total bill came out to about $44, which is quite reasonable for a hearty Western spread for two. Here is what we had: Mixed Grill (Image 61197.jpg): A massive, protein-packed platter! It came loaded with a grilled chicken chop, a juicy pork chop, two grilled sausages, and a beautifully buttered prawn right on top. The meats were well-marinated and had a great char. For sides, it came with a side salad, grilled corn on the cob, crispy onion rings, and a savory brown sauce that tied it all together. Definitely hits the spot if you have a big appetite. Caesar Salad (Image 61200.jpg): A great starter or accompaniment to balance out the heavy meats. The romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp, generously tossed with a creamy dressing, crunchy croutons, bacon bits, and topped with a snowfall of grated parmesan cheese. The food came out relatively quickly, and the quality was consistent with what you'd expect from Hot Tomato. It’s a reliable, no-fuss spot in the North when you're craving Western food. Will definitely return when the meat cravings hit again! 14.06.26

Value for $$$ and delish Western fare If you are craving Western fare that is decently delicious, and won't break your bank, this is it. Food is generous for the pricing, and what makes it really a value meal, is the quality of the food. Delicious, tasty tender meats, carbs like the aglio olio (which surprised me with how balanced it was, firm yet chewy, garlicky without being overly oily) and a refreshing tangy salad side, that helps to balance and brings out the whole meal experience. Will definitely be back to try out other stuffs on the menu. Serving staff is also responsive and welcoming.

Dry and very chewy chicken breast. 咬到嘴酸。 Medium steak. Ate a bitesize of it, it was medium rare/rare. Then cut out the bits thats the same. The major portion of it was fine. Lemon tea was really bad, very slight lemony taste with lots of sugary syrup water.. Only good stuff were the sides.. The fries and onion rings were nice Can't say Im satisfied with the food. Wouldn't recommend.

Truth be told, we have dined here many times, more than Jurong Point that is nearer for us. Hot Tomato does weekday lunch sets, offpeak discount, student discount and normal top up. Their fare has slightly changed over the years, like how my dad lament the loss of his favourite olive rice. They once had a Breakfast Steak item which I like. It has a minute steak, bacon and egg. I had it a few times before it was removed from the menu again. I like that Hot Tomato has something for every level of hunger. You can go poultry, fish, pork, steak, seafood. Their pasta range and flavours is on point too! Our current favourite side to order is the garlic confit ciabatta, conveniently cut into strips for dunking into soup or to wipe up your sauces.

Not expensive for the amt of salmon and pasta given. They also have that table side cheese service so you can have as much cheese as you want. Pasta got a bit jelat at the end. Service was p quick tho they initially got our order wrong
