Everything here tastes "homemade" in the best way possible. The meatballs are savory and tender, and the house-made noodles are the star of the show. Plus, come hungry—the portions are huge! Authentic flavors and great value. I’ll definitely be back.
View on GoogleI apologise in advance for this one star rating. It definitely does not represent the food stalls and the food. I frequent this place 2-3 times a month with family and always ordered from the same stalls. Will buy Banmien, Mala (auntie abit feisty Mala-ish too), and my son’s most fav, Western stall with the cute old man and his assistant. But today, I felt betrayed by the “fineness” of the people of my own country that I had to write this. I know it’s an isolated incident but it shows how some folks wrongly represent their culture, religion and race causing unnecessary dissention when left unchecked. 10AM 5 Sept 2026, Causeway Point Kopitiam Bagus. Vendors are great, food is great. but some staff are just plain racist. I was queuing up at Causeway Point Drink Stall. Two men manning . An uncle and a slightly younger male. I was always served by women staff. This was the first encounter I had with them. Ordered the Yuan Yang Bun Set. Uncle said the set no more after his colleague mentioned something in Chinese. Then two uncles BEHIND me ordered the Yuan Yang Set and they proceeded to toast it. I took photos and videos and asked the uncle why the bread was available. He said because that was bundle set… I went back to my seat feeling wronged. Proceeded back to the counter to take video of the set meals poster. Asked him again... "What bundle set is this ?" He suddenly changed his explanation saying that there was only one set left. I asked "So you sold it to the customer behind me? " With nonchalance, he gave a blank stare. I was heartbroken. My displeasure stemmed from the fact that we were blatantly lied to. Adhering to integrity is all 1 ask for. It is NOT about the bread. I start to wonder how many times have we been denied our rights as customers? Item available but was told its sold out. The customers behind me were probably that younger man’s friends but if his actions to treat me this way are ok, then I rest my case. I consider it my fault. What do you think?
View on GoogleThe salted egg chicken from Fried Item had very watery sauce with barely any salted egg flavour. They added too much chili padi and it was the only spice dominating the whole dish. Overall taste was like spicy water with a splash of creamer. Fried chicken was seasoned alright but it was soggy and the portion was not a lot too. Cost: $7.80 for the Salted Egg Chicken with Egg and Rice.
View on GoogleThe claypot dishes here are amazing! The Claypot Chicken Rice is fragrant and flavorful, while the Curry Biscuit with crunchy chicken is so unique. The Sambal Seafood is spicy and fresh, and the Curry Chicken Drumstick is rich and hearty. Perfect portions for sharing—absolutely worth trying!
View on GoogleI love Malay food like mee siam, mee rebus, soto ayam, tahu goreng, tahu telok, acar, sambal goreng, begerdil, ayam goreng, ayam merah, ayam rendang, sambal petai udang, sambal petai ikan bilis, nasi lemak, satay and many more, last but not least sambal balachan !!! Chinese food like yong tau foo, char kway teow, chicken rice, laksa, ban mian, fishball noodles eventhough halal sold in this halal foodcourt or all other halal foodcourts should be cooked by native Chinese so as not to lose its taste or authenticity of Chinese cuisine without pork. The Thai food in this foodcourt does not taste very Thai too. The food in this foodcourt is mediocre and needs further improvement to cater to everyone to satiate their palate. 💪💪💪
