The soup base is quite thick and lemak. But lacking flavour of dried shrimp (hey bi) and fragrant chilli. Topped with chilli will help to enhance the flavour. Came with 2 half shrimps and few cockles. Will be nice if they are more generous with the bean sprout. The noodle is not the typical translucent Beehoon, it’s thinner and abit on the tougher side. Very different taste from the other Geylang / Katong version. Can skip the otah and chap chye…

It’s still the best curry chicken I’ve ever had in Singapore. The Queensway branch was my first taste of their curry. Of course, their Laksa is also a winner. The only thing missing is the corn, but overall, the food is really good.

We had a wonderful experience with Janggut Laksa! They were incredibly accommodating and patient with all our enquiries and requests, especially since we had to change our delivery timing multiple times due to late confirmation from our event organizer. Despite the changes, they remained responsive, flexible, and professional throughout. The food arrived on time, was neatly packed, and everything was delivered in the correct quantities. Most importantly, the food was delicious and well received by all our guests. The event was a great success, and everyone had positive things to say about the food. Thank you for your excellent service and support. We highly recommend this vendor to anyone looking for reliable catering and look forward to working with them again in the future!

Can see there is effort to make the laksa from raw ingredients. It is more creamy and slightly sweeter as compared to other variants. Personally, don't quite like it but can understand why some might prefer this version. ☺️

Still my go-to to fix my Laksa Craves. Cozy little shop space, less crowded than others. Laksa that always hits the spot for me! 🤤 the gravy creamy and smooth with the perfect amount of coconut milk. Remember to pair your Laksa with an Otah too!!
