This 5 star rating is for the Indian Muslim Food stall that serves roti prata. Ordered one egg and one plain. Came with fish curry gravy. Dough was perfect and pratas were perfectly fried with hint of char. Gravy was tangy, savoury and spicy, just the way fish curry should be. I could eat a few delicious pratas while waiting for the slow Bak Chor Mee to be cooked. The coffee here is expensive compared to other hawker centres or coffee shops. One kopi and one kopi o was $2.90 when elsewhere is $2.50. Plus server was grumpy and curt and they slam the boiling coffee cups on us pointing the handles away from us making it difficult to lift up. Place is quite clean considering the high traffic being in industrial park area.

Industrial canteen that actually has a good variety of stalls that sells noodles, thai food, econ rice and have also a muslim stall. Abit run down but the place is quite neat and clean. Parking will be a challenge as limited spaces. But ample motorcycles parking just behind the canteen

Been here the first time today after visiting one of the installers. Love the food which is cheaply priced by dollar value or food portion. I was pleasantly surprised when the spinach soup stall’s lady boss served up a huge bowl of food with thick bee hoon at $5! The masala dosai is also very cheaply priced at just $1.50 and tasted more than decent! Love the taste of the chilli paste that came with it although I would have preferred some mint sauce too... but on the whole I love the food at the coffee shop. Even though the environment appeared rundown but efforts to clean & sanitize the floor had been made diligently by an elderly uncle who cleaned the tables and mopped the floor. During my next trip there, I would be trying out other stalls that sells the Mala dishes from Chong Qing 重庆 , kueh chap etc etc. We found the coffee and tea tasting the same as other coffee shops and the drink stall staff are polite! Highly recommended!

Date of visit: Mon 26 Aug 2024 Time : 7.30 pm First time here in this coffee shop. About 5-6 stalls still opened at this time. Saw this zhi char stall’s promotion for Thai style fish head priced at $12. And ordered 1 rice for 2 pax. The sauce is excellent: spicy, sweet and sour for assam fish head. Comes with brinjal, lady fingers and onion slices. The fish head is small though, normal for this price.
