Sun Ray Cafe has a really relaxed feel, and I liked that it opens early and even on public holidays. The coffee was good, the food was decent, and the prices felt fair. It’s also a nice spot if you’re a dog lover, which adds to the charm. A couple of teas were sold out when I visited, but overall it was still a pleasant place to stop by.

For a pet friendly place, we were shocked to see them use dettol to clean the tables. The smell was so strong, which also indicates that it was quite concentrated. Food also had lots of room for improvement. Crab meat pasta was horrible, pork chop was passable. Definitely don’t recommend.

Dog friendly cafe in Serangoon Gardens, parking is really convenient just outside the cafe. Really good coffee and every dish I've had there has always impressed!

The barista side of the Cafe is pet-free so it’s good if you’re not so into dogs. They have great specialty coffee beans that are roasted by the owner himself (Parchmen & Co.) that I always buy some back and enjoy at home. Good quality food and very reasonable prices. A nice spot away from the busier side of Serangoon Gardens.

This cafe is actually in the Parched by Parchment chain, so unfortunately found it quite mid for both the coffee and the food. Ordered the ice Brighton ($7), and found it strangely diluted. The coffee, citrus and chocolate taste were all rather one note. Ive enjoyed good flavourful and complex coffee at other Parched by Parchment outlets like the Woodlands branch, so this was rather disappointing. The cheeseburger ($18) was also very average especially for the price. The patty had a bit of gristle inside, and Im not a fan of the barbecue sauce. The patty wasn’t particularly juicy or flavourful. On the plus side, the fries were pretty good! Crispy and well salted.
