The sweet and sour pork was a total disappointment. The meat was super hard. Looks like it was fried a long time ago. The chicken was ok, and reasonable tender. This is their star dish. Portion and size was ok. The ginger sauce was quite diluted. I won’t be back, given the poorly cooked pork dish. Not recommended at all. Would not be coming back.

The food was delicious overall. I especially loved the grilled fish wrapped in leaves—it was full of flavor. The chicken was tender, and the old cucumber soup was really comforting and tasty. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I grew up eating at this restaurant like over 30 years or more ago! It was always my favorite, chicken rice will never go wrong but I was disappointed with their ayam buah keluak. Not what I expected. Overall, still good and yummy!

The steam chicken is definitely good. Even the breast meat is tender. There is jelly in the drum stick which shows the chicken is cooled rapidly after being boiled. The fresh chilli sauce is not bad, a little sweet and not spicy enough for me. The famous white bee hoon is average and the frozen sotong stick should not be inside as it didn't taste fresh. Indoor ambience is warm as there is no door to contain the Aircon. Service of food is extremely fast..

Ordered takeaway. Taste was ok but gave 3 stars ultimately as the food overall has poor value for money. Fish maw soup was the best, $20 but portion was adequate and soup was comforting, fish maw and meatballs tasty. $10 roast pork, maybe cos takeaway, was not crispy and was too salty. Salted egg prawn tasted ok though a tad soggy. However the $22 price tag for 6 salted egg prawns is exorbitant and firmly planted the notion of never returning.
